Today's topic reminds me of how much I enjoyed Patti Coherence in THE MYSTERY OF EDWIN DROOD.

What a coinkydink!  I was just talking about this show with my supervisor because tonight I'm going to usher for a local production of Rupert Holmes' "Accomplice[/b]."  Everyone that I know who has seen it has loved it.  I'm looking forward to it. :)

Hello dear Esteemed and guapo BK........

and hello to all of the DRs and H/Ks in and out today.

I got one more small wall painted with a test color so i could see if I like it in different lights.  And I've almost finished assembling a light fixture that will hang from the ceiling in my breakfast room.  G E E Z !! This thing gives the phrase "some assembly required" a whole new meaning.

Manufacturers....damn them.... damn them all to hell !

Other than that, it's back to work time....ta ta lovelies and studlies.

Today's "topic" being TV quotes, I'm confused.

Giles, "Watcher" to the vampire slayer, about any given crisis:

"It's the end of the world."

Unison response from the "Scoobies" (Xander, Willow, Cordelia & Buffy):

"AGAIN?"

"People let me tell you 'bout my best friend,
He's a warm hearted person who'll love me till the end.
People let me tell you bout my best friend,
He's a one boy cuddly toy, my up, my down, my pride and joy.

"People let me tell you 'bout him he's so much fun
Whether we're talkin' man to man or whether we're talking son to son.
Cause he's my best friend.
Yes he's my best friend."

I just took it to mean bk's repeated references to "coherence" in today's notes.     :-\

I understand.  The name of today's column as "today's topic" vs. topic of the day as "today's topic."

I see that, now.

It's all s-e-m-a-n-t-i-c-a-l.

Odd...and this is no snark....I've never thought of each day's column title being a "topic" since it never coincides with topic of the day.  But there it is...at the top of each page.

Live.  Learn.  Learn some more.

Back from a long rehearsal day (two complete run-throughs). I called the first run-through the Eugene O'Neill version of The Brain but without the laughs. :)

The second run was better, but some are still struggling to solidify what's working - we'll get there.  I'm not going to do two in one day anymore.  Tomorrow, for example, we'll do a work-through of the whole show, start to finish, but stopping and starting to fix things and address notes I've been giving consistently.  Then, around two-thirty, we'll have our full group and do a run.  We'll do only one run on Saturday, and then work things that need working.  Same on Monday.  Tuesday we hope will be a full dress rehearsal, same with Wednesday, with all extra time being used to work any costume change problems and address notes in scene problems.

Jose paid a surprise visit, and accompanied me to a little meeting I had to have with my General Manager, then suggested Chinese food for dinner.  Cason and BJ joined us at some restaurant with Cottage in its name.  We all ordered separate dishes - I, of course, had the orange chicken, extra crispy, and I ordered some cold sesame noodles for the table.  The cold sesame noodles were amongst the best I've ever had (no LA restaurant has decent cold sesame noodles), and the orange chicken was faboo.  I'll be going back.

How can we STILL be on page seven?  Some dear readers are not holding up their end.  Have you ever held up your end?  I'm so overweight right now there's no way I could hold up my end.
