When I got home, Boo was exploring a Kleenex box that I had jst emptied. She got a little too curious and couldn't get the box off her head. The poor thing was starting to panic. I finally got to her and got it off. Then I laughed and laughed....she was not amused.

GHOST WHISPERER had a very moving episode dealing with an Iraq veteran being haunted by men in his squad who were killed over there.

WOMEN'S MURDER CLUB was indeed a mystery, but this one wasn't stronly plotted, and three of the women had boy friend/husband/ex-husband issues that kept distracting me from concentrating on the clues. Still, I'll continue watching for now.

I completed my evening by watching a very exciting MOONLIGHT episode. A newly created vampire goes rogue, and Mick attempted to track him down. Quite scary at times and well paced.

Good Evening!

Back from Mary Poppins... I watched from the pit tonight.  And when I left the theatre, I ran into a few friends who were at the show tonight to see someone in the cast.  With the auditions I played, today was filled with lots of mini-reunions.  :)

DR CIllaliz - What fun!  Thanks for the stories and photos from the circus.  Also, it does sound like DC Boo is finally back into "normal" mode!

CAPTAIN AMERICA TO RISE FROM THE DEAD!

That is all we need to further blur the line between guns an make-believe.  Why if Captain America can be shot and killed by a sniper's bullet and come back to life; then little Bobby can come back to life after I shoot him!

For what it's worth, the original Captain America, Steve Rogers, will remain dead. A new character will be donning the costume.

I think kids who read comics are too smart to believe that in real life, the dead aren't really dead.

It's kids who watch cartoons - the old ones with Wiley Coyote rushed, blown up and killed, and then still alive, for example,  that lose that distinction.

Or those who watch movies such as...was it called Stunt Guy?..about a wannabe stunt man who kept crashing into things, but walked away from what shold have been crippling injuries if not death...or Jackass, with similar activities.

Still force-feeding myself words [trying to memorize] for Saturday night's appearance of Nelson & Jeanette.  There is plenty of "ham" in me, so that it should be a real blast.

I see that the Mercury retrograde is giving us all troubles....it will go on until November 1......

I had an auto accident....minor fender bender....today....and also got a nail in one of my tires.....was almost LATE for the wedding rehearsal while waiting to get it fixed.

But the rehearsal was fine.....hopefully the wedding will go as well.

It was VERY moving for me, even with some of the "hoke" gratuitously added (for some reason, the "salutes" always strike me as over-the-top schmaltz).

And the fork ran away with the spoon, too.

Yes, it was a most excellent episode, with some interesting back-story, to boot!  This show has not deisappointed me yet.

In the "I blame Jose" category, DR Jose, what did you do yesterday morning to provoke Josh Drimmer to run around Times Square stark naked?  The man was rounded up by the police and carted off to Belleview.

Jose wouldn't share his cookies.
That, or he was heard to laugh and say, "Let him eat monkey cake!"

Poor guy just couldn't take it!
