Bruce, I'm pleased you are feeling better.  I still think you should wait to get the flu shot.

Thanks, Jrand, for the dance humor.

Doctor, will I be able to dance once this gout attack passes?
Of course!
That's great, because I had two left feet before.

Edi - It's more in the toe than the heel, but not isolated in the toe joints, making me wonder if I did something else to the foot

In other news, my chills do seem to be gone, and I'm not having trouble breathing this morning.

Yay! So glad to hear you're feeling better, Bruce!

Mini-Pigs

These pint-size pigs are hogging the spotlight, toted as the next perfect pet. Bred at Pennywell farm in Devon, England, the Pennywell Miniature is a variant on a rare breed from New Zealand. Farm co-owner Chris Murray wanted to breed the pocket-size pigs "so that children can enjoy giving them a cuddle."
(Pennywell Farm)

The miniature pigs are a big hit on the farm and even caught the eye of British TV celebrity Jonathan Ross, who bought two of the pigs for $300, according to the BBC. Farm co-owner Chris Murray said that they try to "sell them in pairs so that they always have company and a companion to snuggle down with on cold winter nights."

bk, thanks for the "Mulholland Drive" review.  I've always wanted to see it but could never get anyone to watch it with me, now I'll just watch it alone!!!  I think it's in my DVD library.

DerBrucer I’ll be curious what you think of Samantha Who.

Christine is cute and fun to watch; the plotting, however, is lacking. (I like watching Jean Smart steal her scenes.) Not a show I'm likely to keep watching.

Good Afternoon!

My room is clean.  Well, clean enough for now.  Things are tidied.  Clean laundry has been folded and put away.  Other laundry has been put in the to-be-washed basket.  And I even made a pass through the living room with the vacuum cleaner. I'm off on Thursday, and I think that's when I will attend to some of the more annoying things, mainly dusting.  -And trying to set up some sort of temporarily filing system for all the CDs and DVDs that have yet to be put into the main system as it were.
