For now, they gave me antibiotics, which I can crush and mix with her canned food, so I don't have to try and shove them down her throat...I don't particularly want to have to do that.  Otherwise, the good news is that she now has her shots and I renewed her license.

That's the latest. :-\

Well, I need to be going.  Pug, the director of "Nite [sic*] of the Living Dead! The Musical" is having a party at her house tonight.  I need to go to my sister's for a while before I head over there.  Have a good evening, all. :)

*I always assumed that it was spelled "Night," but the official spelling for the show is "Nite."  Go figure. ;)

While walking around town today we saw Sherlock’s friend boulder and his owner,  the guy was shocked I had two breaks.  He said they didn’t hit me that hard.  i hadn’t thought so either.

Good Evening!

I just got back from having dinner with my friend, Chris, and his wonderful one-year-and-a-couple-months-old baby boy, Henry.   Henry is a really cutie, and there's no doubt that he's gonna be a heart-breaker when he gets older.  Although, he already sort of broke my heart tonight when he brought me a book to read to him before Chris put him in his crib for the night: "Guess How Much I Love You".  :)

the fist school application bryan sent appears to be  missing.  last night he was completing it again to be sent with a second check.  at least he had a copy of the essay portion.  just one of the many hassles with the process.  he really has to keep on top of things as too much info has to be resent.

OH!  And I didn't have any of the cookies I brought tonight, believe it or not.  However, Chris enjoyed the wedge of the Dark Chocolate Chocolate Chip one he had, and when his partner, Jeff, gets home later, they can sample the Oatmeal Raisin one.

*Of course, I had my Chocolate Chip Walnut earlier today.

i suggested that, or at least a verification record.  i don't think it will really do any good-if they don't have it, it is still his responsibility to follow up.  when he wrote a nice email inquiring why the check hadn't been cashed this school would only send a standard email reply that something was missing, wouldn't even clarify what was missing.  there is no way to call and speak to a live school.  since the are on rolling admissions this isn't good.

Sigh.  I took Ebonie to the vet and they cleaned out her claw...it wasn't pretty. :P The vet said that it looks like there's a tumor behind her claw. :o On Monday, I need to make an appointment to have part of the paw amputated! :'( It'll be sent to Seattle to be tested, which would take 3-5 days after that.  Even now though, she doesn't seem to have any pain or discomfort.  She's walking on it without any trouble, so I suppose that's good.

Oh, George, I am so sorry.  Thank goodness she isn't in any pain.
