When I'm worried and I can't sleep
I count my blessings instead of sheep
And I fall asleep counting my blessings
When my bankroll is getting small
I think of when I had none at all
And I fall asleep counting my blessings

I think about a nursery and I picture curly heads
And one by one I count them as they slumber in their beds
If you're worried and you can't sleep
Just count your blessings instead of sheep
And you'll fall asleep counting your blessings

I think I shall get some sleep. Today was very productive. I worked very hard and worked myself right out of my funk.  Tomorrow there is much to do including putting together my power point for my seminar presentation on Thursday. It's for the FPD and I just can't get into it.  It's an easy topic and I have a partner who I told to go first. Hopefully she will have a lot to say so I can just skate.  I think I've spoken at these silly things for the past 7 years.  I have no idea why I agreed to do it again, especially since I don't work there anymore!

OH! Here's a good one.  I got another call today from the phone repair guy for LexisNexis.  He wanted me to put him on hold so he could work on the static on the line my rep gets when he calls me.  WHAT!   At first I did it, then I got on the line and asked why on earth I should allow them to tie up my business line when it's their problem and I didn't ever have static.  He told me he thought my local company had a problem. I told him no one else had ever complained.   It was strange. Makes me wonder if it's really the gov't tapping my phone

Am I the only one who wants to ask (even though I know it isn't):  "Is that a EUPHEMISM"?

Which part?  "some business"?  "lively discussion"? or "Mexican food"?

You know, at first glance, I totally misread the word "shirts" as "shorts"

Well, that too.

DR JoseSPiano - were you at Borders today, taking advantage of the 40% discount on CDs?

I was.  I saw the newish Measha Brueggergosman CD that you had mentioned about a month ago, but I also found an older CD on an obscure label that features her in the Copland Dickinson songs and the Barber Knoxville.  I doubt that anyone shall ever surpass Upshaw, but it will be nice to have this one, too.

DR singdaw - I actually resisted the special 40%-off "sale" yesterday and today.  I really do have quite a number of unlistened to, let alone unwrapped, CDs still sitting on my shelves.  Frankly, there was really nothing I was interested in buying right now since I already have most everything I want right now.  Also, the CD departments at my local Border's (Time-Warner Center and Penn Station) are quite lacking in their selection.

*I even went into Virgin today after the movie to browse and buy... Although I ended up not buying anything.  And I even have TWO $5.00 off coupons right now!  -Something must in be retrograde.  ;)

I've been on my computer for about an hour and it's turned itself off four, count 'em, FOUR time!!  And I'm just reading posts and checking my e-mail! :o What's going on?  To turn it back on, I have to disconnect the power cord.  That's $#@& inconvenient. :P

Otherwise, when I got home and checked my mail, I received BK's new Kritzerland release, "Une Chambre en Ville;" "The Bubbly Black Girl Sheds Her Cameleon Skin;" the original concept album to "Blackbeard: A New Musical;" and from England, the region 2-PAL DVD (not yet available in the US!) "Battlestar Galactica" season 3!  Plus a two DVDs, a videotape and a CD for my niece.  Talk about hitting the jackpot! ;)

My computer is back up...after another TWO shut-downs. :P I'm off to bed.  I'll talk to my sister's boyfriend later today (he built my computer) and hopefully, he'll be able to figure out what the heck is going on. :-\

Good night, Der Brucer and Adriana. 8)
