I've made steady progress in clearning my DVR cache. It's amazing how many movies one can transfer to DVD if one puts one's mind to it...and occupies oneself doing other things rather than sitting and watching the films while they are recording.

Yesterday and today (before I went to rehearsal...tomorrow, we move into the theater!), I was watching episodes of "Greys' Anatomy" and "Private Practice" while taping them (onto VHS) for my friend, Margo. She doesn't have cable, and since I have to record these because I'm in rehearsal, it's very easy to watch and tape at the same time. I have one "Private Practice" episode left, then I'm all caught up with those two shows. After that, I'll start on watching and taping "Big Shots." I have six episodes of that to get through.

They offered to send it, but I wouldn't get it until at least Tuesday, at that point I may as well wait a couple more days. I still have a land line at home and at work

The stories about who walked out are coming strictly from Local One. Maybe the producers did walk out, but we haven't heard anything from their side about that, other than it is clearly stated in one of the press reports that the first people out of the building were not the League, but Local One.

I'm taping "Big Shots" and I just watched a segment, but I forgot to hit the pause button on my VCR to start it recording again (I'm cutting out the commercials since I'm actually watching it), so it didn't tape it.

Now I have to watch this whole section again. Dopey me.

I took one quarter of Spanish in college. All I can remember is "yo tengo hambre" (literaly, "I have hunger," but translated as "I'm hungry") but for quite a while, I didn't remeber it correctly and would say "yo tengo hombre."
