My favorite songs are the numbers with Zubrick and the Brain, if you want any of those!  :)

I like those numbers also. I am having some troubles watching them for my dail up times out before it completely loads...

Edi, how do I find the "hidden track" in the DVD?

We viewed the disc in the computer, not the DVD player. Even though I'm technically adept at most things I don't know much about "Easter Eggs" or "Hidden Tracks" so I need some enlightenment.

I will need to go back and listen....

DR JMK, I do indeed have memories of Measure 9...sometimes it is almost hard to believe that it ever was seriously considered.

And whatever did happen to Lon Mabon???

He is still at it!

Lon Mabon's Ballot Initiatives Get Approved for Circulation

Quote
Just an update on Lon Mabon's two ballot initiatives for 2008. Both have just been approved by the Oregon Secretary of State for circulation. Meaning they can begin to gather signatures. Read below for information on these hateful attempts by Mabon and his ilk...

They failed to get enough certifiable signatures, but are suing the state for not certifying correctly ( READ HERE )

The fat lady has still to sing.

and many do not compare to the one and only classiest of classiest Mr. Bruce Kimmel!

What do you call the toppings on the $1,000 sundae when you add in roach droppings?

Serendipity-doo

(just joking around - obviously, this assumes the alleged violations are correct, which I have no way of proving)

Back from the cabaret.  It started about twenty minutes late - and was an odd batch of singers doing Christmas songs.  I was on the guest list, and this seemed to confuse the hostess no end - she refused to seat me at a table and said to wait and she'd figure things out.  She never did.  I sat way in the back of the room at the bar.  I was not all that happy.  I left after ninety minutes.  Someone said hello to me - I had no idea who they were.

George, sing softly & don't strain your throat.

Too late. ;) I sang the bass part, but if I didn't have a sore throat, it would've sung tenor.  My friend Josh is a tenor, too.  I don't know how many people were there, but it seemed at least half full.  The entire Messiah wasn't performed, but it was fun.  I'll probably do it again, next year. :)

DR George - how are you celebrating your first night of "freedom"?

I stayed home from work and then went to the Messiah Sing Along.  It was fun (see post above)!

After I got back, I started baking some cookies for tomorrow's holiday potluck.  We have a morning gift exchange (I bought some Trader Joe's chocolates) and goodie break.  That's what the cookies are for.  For the actual lunch time potluck, I'm bringing some blueberry/pomegranate juice and sparkling apple cider.

George, he sang bass, Josh, he sang tenor,
Me and little brother would join right in there.
Singin' seems to help a troubled soul.
One of these days and it won't be long,
I'll rejoin them in a song.
I'm gonna join the fam'ly circle at the Throne.
