I think I shall have something to eat, and then retire to my chambre de duerme.

DR Ron Pulliam appears to have been rendered speechless by his efforts on the previous page.

Or perhaps he's just "resting."  :)

I was totally resting, slopjar!

I hope not! Wouldn't it be difficult to maintain the animation-reality conceit?

I'm sure Julie Taymor will find a way ;D

Was it former DR BrettySpaghetti who didn't like the scatalogical humor?

Who can remember?

I know he made a huge impression on many here, but it must not have been mutual.

I found Trembling before G_D very compelling.

So did I and also profoundly sad. I was happy and proud of those who refused to deny their true natures, but for many of them, their continuing torment over it left me feeling very melancholy for them.

I had a lovely time at the wine and cheese party. I stayed about two hours, but seating was limited so when the guest came in that would have no place to sit, I figured it was time for me to leave and let her have my seat on the sofa.

Reconnected with several really nice guys including one I had a little crush on a couple of years ago. Alas, the feeling was not mutual. Still a very nice guy.

When I got home, I had time to watch two episodes of THE TUDORS which puts me exactly halfway through the set. I should be able to easily finish the remaining episodes tomorrow.

I know of nothing coming on tomorrow night that would preclude me from continuing with whatever DVDs or Blu-rays I'm watching.

The Grand Prix final in figure skating is on tomorrow at some point, but I already know the results and have no desire to watch them play out.

HaliBUTT was excellent, as was my half of a sweet potato.  The haliBUTT was small, however, and so I am thinking about dessert.

Good Evening!

Well, the my brother, Mike, his wife, Veronica, and their children, John Michael, Alyssa and Emily have come and gone.  They basically stopped by for a pit stop/dinner break, as well a chance for their grandparents to take some pics of them in front of the tree.  They're heading down to Norfolk tonight to spend the weekend with some friends, and then they'll be back up here on Christmas day.

And it looks like John Michael is turning into quite the technological wizard... and singer!  He wanted to use my Dad's karaoke system, so he went ahead and hooked the whole thing up - which included futzing with the input and output setting on the new HD TV!  Then he proceeded to sing a couple of Beach Boys' songs, as well as "compete" with his sister on "Twinkle, Twinkle".  ;)  It was like Donnie & Marie Filipino Style!

*And, yes, pics were taken, and will be posted soon. :)

I haven't seen RHPS since the convention in Long Beach this summer.
First-timers may be Rocky virgins, but I'm Rocky frustrated.

DR singingnymph - did you know that for two marvelous years, I was "Brad Majors" (insert Uranus joke here) at the King's Court Theater in Pittsburgh, PA, a member (insert Uranus joke here) of the first official Pittsburgh company?
As a group, we appeared on local television as well as national television - CBS-TV's first incarnation of People magazine - and as a group attended conventions as far away as Hemstead, NY.

I've been asked to join a couple casts, but I prefer being in the audience.
The only part I've ever played was Betty.

Just a quick note regarding my virginal visit (insert Uranus joke here) to RHPS:  I saw RHPS for the first time following a double feature of Alfred Hitchcock's PSYCHO and THE BIRDS. . . .
One week later, I was wearing fishnets and a corset . . .IN PUBLIC!

Someone could establish the "Levain Enablers Foundation" which could in turn provide fellowship grants to elligle Filipino Keyboardists.

(Have Fred set it up, and Ben can help with management)

On a related charitable note :)  - It seems that when you give a donation to a non-profit theater over the phone, that theater very likely shares your phone number with lots of other non-profit theaters.  My phone number happens to be listed under Skip's name, and I've been getting lots of calls from theaters knowing my name to whom I've never contributed before.  No good deed, etc.

Oh my, I'm sounding like a Scrooge today regarding charities.  :) :)

Not Scrooge at all, IMO. I enjoy giving to charities, especially at Christmas. However, I have been totally turned off by many of them, especially those that (1) send you a bill, stating that you haven't yet paid your membership, when, of course, all you intended was a one-time gift, or (2) those that send out requests that are designed to look like overdue bills. I've taken quite a few charities off my list due to what I consider reprehensible behavior.  I still give, but much more selectively.
