Nine year contract: (7 year contract....renegotiations adding 2 years) total income for Annette:

$250,000 - including all years on THE MICKEY MOUSE CLUB, ANNETTE the serial, SPIN & MARTY and other serials, all Disney movies including THE HORSEMASTERS, THE SHAGGY DOG, and BABES IN TOYLAND, and all recordings.

$250,000!

Disney got quite a bargain there.

I think DRs GINNY and EDISAURUS should wear their hair in that style.

More Jose and Barnum casting material:

(tune of "That's How Young I Feel")

I have the feeling the show is casting
On body type, so you best start fasting
'Cause that's how weird you'll feel

Those singing lessons don't work, but darn 'em
The casting's run by Jose and Barnum
So that's how weird you'll feel

Better watch for Jose, he grabs
Any body with six-pack abs
Down there by the levy

Got a couch and it's reupholstered
Prepare to have your libido bolstered
If you've got buns of steel

Oh, Honey, 'cause that's how weird you'll feel

OK, next!

It's been a quiet year.

And you know they didn't pay her nothing at that jackleg outfit.  In fact, until 1964, all of the loan out money would have gone to Uncle Walt and Annette would have only been paid her regular salary.

My next sitcom pilot will be about a lawyer, loosely based on someone here that we all know and love, who always wins his court cases by winning over the jury with clever song parodies.  :)

Umm...

DR FJL - For DR MBarnum's benefit, I think you may have to use "Shalaka Baby" as a basis for your parodies.  ;)

I could do something to the tune of "Sari Grateful" or "Bolly High."  Would that work?

And what would that series be called?

"Passing the Bar"

"Hello, Freddy!"

"Notes For A Scandal"

"He Sings, She Sings"

OK... Time to walk to the mall/movies.  I think I'm going to see "The Water Horse: Legend of the Deep", and maybe even stick around for "Juno" or the sneak preview of "27 Dresses".  We shall see.

I'm already using "Passing the Bar (of Soap)" for my sitcom about Jose and Barnum's adventures in gym class at a pre-law program.  So "Passing the Bar" is out.

Here's something to cheer Elmore: one of the neatest pieces of animation I've ever seen on YouTube!

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=X3_SaQrzWyA

It was quite lovely! And they all turned into a Central Pastry birthday cake!
