We could top 500 postings this fine day.  In case you haven't noticed, I decided not to go to the Chance Theater party - it was being held in some rich person's home, I wouldn't have known one person there, but most importantly, in no traffic it would take an hour and ten minutes to get there.  On a Friday night, probably two hours, so I just wasn't up for driving three hours for an hour of party.

Have you prepared a message for the LA Restaurant web site to see if you can get your family restaurant listed?

The point being the Convention and the Committee are two very diffferent things.

OH...

As for the Friday Media Check...

Radio: WCVE (89.9FM)

CD via iPod:
Grease - Current revival cast recording.  I bought this the week it came out, but didn't listen to it until this week.  It's not as bad as I thought it was going to be.  However, the Prologue is sort of embarrassing.

Jean-Yves Thibaudet, pianist - Saint-Saens, Piano Concertos, No. 2 and 5.  -I need to see what kind of "effect" he put in the piano to achieve the cool sound in the second movement of No. 5 ("The Egyptian").

All Shook Up OCR - It just started playing, and I kept listening.  I had forgotten how wonderful the vocal arrangements were for this show.

Brent Barrett - "The Alan Jay Lerner Album" - :)

Well, I was going to wait around for the new Notes and Posts, but since I'm supposed to be helping Steve shop for food for his mother's birthday party in six hours...

Goodnight.
