DR Ginny - glad you made it without mishap.  I hate driving in inclement weather!

A guy just asked why he had to pay to leave the garage. How do you answer that?

DR Sandra - are you kidding?    :P

There are some situations where there are no words.

Perhaps a simple   ::)    would suffice.

I watched THE DAY THE EARTH CAUGHT FIRE last night and listened to the commentary with director Val Guest and Ted Newsome.  It was very interesting and enjoyable.

My first question for ASK BK day - what is your favorite Pat Boone song?  What is your favorite Pat Boone movie?

Good morning, all! I finally slipped off to sleep after 3 am and I am feeling quite groggy today.  I am up, though! I have a trek to the post office, a phone call to my dad's bank, an order for some music, and possibly a movie  with Alice and Cathie to deal with before my day is over.

It feels so strange, but I'm up, dressed and  ready to go to work!

Not my choice, but my fate.

My lot in life.

For now.

Oh, well.

The weather forecast is frightening.  Starting tomorrow, we are expecting a storm onslaught worse than any we've had since 1995.  We are expecting 1-5 inches of rain, with winds from 60-75 mph on Friday.  The weather prognosticator said he can't see how anything might change because the storm front is "huge".

Wet, wet, wet.

That's what we'll all be here in the Bay Area.

I'll need to recheck my balcony plants this evening to ensure  everything is secure.

I didn't forget my pencil today, so I am hard at work drawing a picture of the heater on the wall of the booth.
