I sat down at the piano to do some work (completely rivising one of the act two songs from start to finish - keeping occasional lyric lines but not many) and now it's eight o'clock.  How did that happen?  Making some soup to keep me warm and now shall attempt to watch a DVD.

I watched three more JAG episodes. Three to go though I may not get them finished tomorrow morning. We'll see.

Of interest to DR MBarnum, one of your favorites - Kent McCord - played a judge in a couple of the episodes I've watched today.

UGLY BETTY had a good episode to end this cycle of episodes. Very satisfying and enjoyable.

SUPERNATURAL had a very tense rerun with a rogue hunter turned into a vampire after Sam. Some really scary moments, and a very sad end to the "daddy" vampire whose family had all been taken from him.

And I completed my evening watching the 10 p.m. CHUCK. Again, a very satisfying way to end the first half of their season. I really loved this episode.

I'll have the 8 p.m. episode to watch at some point this weekend.

I forgot to mention that I did finish PROJECT RUNWAY. I was absolutely delighted with the designer who was sent packing. Has never been one of my favorites, and in the last couple of weeks, I had really grown to despise this person.

I didn't agree with the winner, however. I thought two other designs were more interesting.

Actually, the network is trying out the show in these timeslots to see if the show would attract a greater audience somewhere other than Monday. As it already has a season episode order (if the strike ends), why not experiment with it in other timeslots?

I agree with DR RonP. I don't like when the switch days.

I'm all for getting the show (CHUCK) more viewers.

But i suspect that most of its regular viewers would have no clue that it was on today. I know i would not have known except that i happened to see it marked in my tv. But that was just by accident.

RE: this week's MEDIUM

SPOILERS

*

From Ron:LOL-Just before the mystery was revealed I started to tell Keith my theory, then decided he wouldn’t want to know it.  We had a good laugh when just minutes later all was disclosed to him as well.

We too enjoyed the episode very much, that is until the very ending which we found absurd & unrealistic.  Keith said the writers must have gone on strike 10 minutes before the end of the script.

I'm trying to remember this week's episode so i can remember the end.

I know it was the one with joe trying to get a job. And his "boss" had a wife who had allison help find their daughter.

I'm trying to figure out which part of the ending you didn't like. Are you talking about the boss selling the company and joe not getting the job?  If so i hated that part too!

Well, if you watched ANY NBC shows this week, there were promos for it. In fact, they were special promos featuring cast members that were quite clever and droll. If I wasn't already a fan, these promos would have made me check out the show.

I can't believe that regular viewers/fans wouldn't have been going out of their way to check to see when the show would turn up again. I certainly was interested to see when ALL of my favorites would be back on.

Also, DR Jennifer, unless you're not reading my posts at all, you would have known CHUCK was on tonight from MY postings.

Those TV Reminders I post each morning are generally to remind others here who have expressed interest in the past in certain shows that they're showing new episodes tonight.

It is now snowing - wind chill is at 19 °

I suspect I'll have little sympathy from the mid-west crowd.

der Brucer

The air temp without windchill was -25 last night.  I didn't really notice it this morning. I forgot to wear a had and gloves and really wasn't very cold

"Ugly Betty" - Good. Fun.

"Celebrity Apprentice" - Good.  Not so fun.  But it does look like it will get more interesting over the next couple of weeks.

"Make Me A Supermodel" - About to watch via DVR.

*But from the previews, DR FJL, it did like a bit softcore-porn-ish.  I shall report back later.

I watched one episode of SUPERNATURAL: season two's CROSSROADS, which featured voodoo and a "black dog."

I watched all of BROKEBACK MOUNTAIN without a break for any reason.  I'm still amazed at Heath Ledger's maturity.  This is a sublime performance fill with love, commitment, nuance as well as joy and sorrow.  I promised myself I wouldn't tear up, but, when Jack said, " I wish I knew how to quit you. . ." I lost it.  Completely.  For the rest of the film.   :'(
