I enjoyed NEW AMSTERDAM very much. Nice case, good backstory. I still can't believe this doctor feels no remorse about her failed marriage or isn't working to see if she can't make it work again. If there's going to be any built-in tension about this relationship, she needs to go back to this husband (if she is indeed THE ONE), and let John twist and turn over not being able to have her. Yes, tonight, it looked like they were going to break up because she felt he wasn't being honest with her, but that didn't seem more than momentary pique on her part. I don't think it's over. But the whole relationship thing has just been too fast and easy. There need to be BIG problems for him to surmount.

What was fun tonight was seeing a bunch of friends and colleagues.  A good portion of tonight's house was papered, and it seemed like the companies from almost every other Broadway show were there tonight.  Lots of hugs, and catching up.  Always a good thing.

Well, this morning I got a call from the agency that I am listed with, that I have landed a photo shoot for tomorrow morning in Seattle.  It is for a large Health Care system here in the Northwest, probably for one of their brochures.  Bottom line:  About 5 hours work tomorrow.  The payment:  $750.00.

I don't know how I am going to manage next month, but, at least this month is settled.  Of course, I have no idea how soon I will get paid, but the check is almost in the mail!

Forgive me for rambling, but I needed to share this with my family.

I'm so sorry to hear that you've been going through this, but so glad to hear the happy ending!

Checks-arrive-soon vibes to TCB and ELMORE and anyone else kept waiting!

MEDIUM was a good episode,

but I kind of suspected something was fishy about the captor and the blonde girl.

And, once again, it is TEDIOUS for people to not believe Allison. They go to her for help and then discount it routinely.

I only turn my computer off when I am going to be away for a few days. It seems to me that the compuer guy said it was best to leave it on...or maybe I imagined it.

Jose - I'm referring to really-bad-bad-bad-taste factor, intentionally bad, bad taste - but CRY BABY probably pushes the boundaries of that even farther than DIRTY ROTTEN SCOUNDRELS did.

Back from a very good rehearsal.  By the end of Wednesday, my blocking work will be done, and then it's all up to the choreographer.

I left fifteen minutes earlier than ever, three-thirty, and the traffic on the 101 to downtown was reprehensible.  Thirty minutes to go about seven miles and what should be a six-minute drive from Cahuenga in Hollywood.  Today I tried taking the 10 to the 57 to the 91 - it was pretty good for a while then bogged down and it ended up taking the full ninety minutes.
