Well, Miss Blue Moon left for the Rainbow Bridge tonight at 6:55 p.m.

Please give your doggies and kitties an extra hug this evening.

Thanks for all the thoughts and vibes.

DR JRand57, I am so sorry! How are you coping?

I keep catching this Target Spring Collection commercial involvng designs by Milla Jovavich and some other twit. Doesn't anyone intelligent edit or write sensible copy for these morons? "Art nouveau referenced instead of art deco, 30s art nouveau flowers are used in the 70s? What thehell are they saying and why am I not seeing it?

I think there must be a full moon: lots of insane people out today, beginning with a real crazy on the subway.

The VARIETY review for SOUTH PACIFIC is an unqualified rave!

TOD - Insalata Della Casa (house salad) at Bravo Cucina Italiana is my current favorite.

I hope that Bravo Cucina Italiana is not related to Cucina Cucina which we have out here.  Awful food.

True story:  A few years back one of the big auto glass companies offered 20 free dinners for two at Cucina Cucina for every windshield replaced.  The very next day, everybody in the Northwest started repairing their own windshields

True Story!

I am one of those people who buys all sorts of different salad dressings, always looking for that perfect one...well, I finally found them...these are currently my favorites, and about the only kind I have used for the last couple of years....

I should have guessed........... fruit and nuts!

I watched the first episode of LIFE that started here last night on ShowCase (canada). I actually really liked it.

The only thing i am not clear about (since i don't really remember the exact premise) is the special abilities the lead guy now has.

My current favorite salad and dressing is served at Ruth's Chris - their thousand island is incredible, and I rarely have thousand island because it is done so poorly.

Are you kidding?  I can't afford to park at Ruth's Chris!

Well with adam as hoh i was expecting sharon and james to be nominated. But apparently james cried and cried and adam agreed not to put him up (james agreed not to use the veto if he wins it). It is sharon and sheila. I am sort of surprised. I wonder if adam and sheila talked about it before he did it (i thought he said he would never turn on sheila). I am curious to read if adam will backdoor james, or if he is just intent to get sharon out this week.

There's a rumor floating about today that Fran Drescher will be Morgan le Fey in the NY Philharmonic concert of CAMELOT.  I really hope this is true; she'll bevery funny, and hopefully we'll get a recording of "The Persuasion." Finally.

Have they announced who will be playing Arthur?

TOD: The Ensalata Especial at The Treehouse, at the end of my street. Although it's really just a bar (it's been there for decades) it also has excellent food! (We had dinner there tonight.)

This salad has field greens, blue cheese, avacado, toasted pecans, mandarin oranges and a homemade citrus ponzu dressing. I usually add their grilled salmon. Soooo good!

Speaking of salads, I have to mention that for the last 3 days I've ordered salads for lunch (twice from Panera and once from another local restaurant.) Panera's Fuji apple chicken salad came with NO chicken either time (my client got the half salad, which did have 2 small pieces of chicken) and the other place delivered their salad without the salmon I ordered for it. So...just a bunch of field greens with a few diced tomatoes.

I was in a stressful situation trying to meet a deadline and had already missed breakfast, so this made me quite cranky! And Panera even forgot the bread. BAD PANERA!

Jennifer, he doesn't have any special powers.  He is just good at what he does & has loads of money.

We were almost late for class because Sherlock decided not to get in the car.  Instead he ran around playing.  I suppose he figured we already went for a hike & this excursion can't be that exciting.

A few times I pretended to drive away without him.  Each time he ran in front of the car and sat down.  Finally I sat in the back seat for awhile thinking he would come to me-nope.  I then got out of the car & told him to stay, walked up and took him by the collar.

I've never had a dog that didn't just hop in the car.  Echo used to bang herself getting in so quickly.

JRand, I will light a candle at 10PM Monday night (est) with all the other folks at Petloss.com. This has been the ritual in our house on Monday nights when someone we care about has lost an animal companion or has one that is ill. We've done this ever since our ancient cat crossed over.

The folks there are very caring and compassionate, and helped me tremendously on those nights I was so sad that I couldn't sleep.

Even though I now have a house full of cats, I still go there to offer support to others in gratitude for how they helped me through one of the saddest times in my life.

We'll think of you and your Miss Blue Moon as we light our candles, and hope that all the vibes from around the world will help to heal your heart.
