Today we received our Hamilton High alumni news mailing.  There is a very nice tribute for Joel Siegel from one of his classmates, who would also be a classmate of my brother.

Speaking of alumni, on Monday I got an e-mail thru one of those reunion sites (Classmates.com, or one of those) from the girl woman who I took to my Senior Prom back in 1968.  I haven't seen her or even heard from her in almost 40 years.  She is now a doctor!

Danise, isn't the location, more important than the size.  Many people have stones that sit and go nowhere & never hurt.  Is this in a dangerous location or out of the way?

I've tired it but it doesn't seem to help.  I'm on meds that are supost to stop them from forming but I still got them.

My doctor just increased my dose so we'll see.

I am so sorry.   :(

I'm told it's like a ticking time bomb.  It may never move and then again, it might.

If it hits, I'll have to go to the hospital and they will put me on pain meds but will do nothing to remove the stone.  I'll have to still have the "surgery" as a emergency but I'll be in pain (with pain meds) until that can be arranged.

You should.  I have written several people, all but one responded-rather disappointing too. I only wrote people I was very interested in.

One gal I wrote was a friend from elementary school who now lives in Israel.  We write often, I reconnected her to a couple of people, and I've seen her a couple of times.  It has been great.

I am so sorry.   :(

That's ok.

I never am able to do things the easy way.

I go for a simple hearing test and wind up having to have a MRI.  I just mentioned I have that hissing sound in my right ear.  Turns out that if I had it in both ears, that's normal.  Because I only have it in one ear, that calls for a MRI.  I can't win.  What can I say?  :)

I had it done yesterday.  It wasn't as bad as I thought it would be.  At least, I didn't freak out.   :-\

Got her number?  AT the rate I'm having health probems, I'm sure I'll need her services at some point or the other.  :D ;D

I got an e-mail through Classmates.com, saying I had a message.  But I would have to join and pay just to find out who it was from!  They wouldn't even tell me that for free. :P

I have received scores of those over the years and refuse to pay to retrieve them.  If someone is that interested in contacting me, there's a little thing known as Google they can use.  My website is free.  :)

I'm so glad they were good to your Mom, DR Ginny.  I didn't know she was born in 1918.  That's when my Mom was born.

Thanks, DR Danise.  I just talked to Mom on the phone and she told me about her customer service rep and laughed about how often he asked her to repeat her birthdate.  Her 90th birthday will be on Thanksgiving Day.

George, you should be able to respond to the email without paying.   You pay to send one.  How Double check this.

On another note, I got a nice email at work today.  I spotted some problems with an email that CS sent out and wrote the guy who sent it.  He said I was "sharp, as always" for catching them and my boss said that email is going into my record.  :)

Before our class reunion I payed my fee to classmates.  I then sent a bulk email to the class members & received many responses, without their paying anything.

I guess I've said that Mom's birthday was November 10th.  However, I have since found a 2nd  birth certificate for her, one very old that states that is the date and yet another that was dated in the 30's that made it a couple days earlier (same year).

Since we always belived it to be the 10th, I don't count that 2nd certificate.

I have a wonderful boss.  I don't honestly know what I'm going to do when she retires in 2 years.  That's one day I will cry because I will miss her.

I can't remember when I didn't know West Side Story and the same is true of Gypsy. I auditioned for Gypsy when I was in 5th grade. I didn't get it, but I still loved the show
