For someone with nothing to say I'm certainly talking.

Just like some politicians.

Good morning, all! There is an improvement this morning in the back; it's still quite uncomfortable but much better than yesterday.  Thank you all for the vibes.

This morning I  have to run up to my storage space, drop off a carton and pick up a few things. After that, back here to deal with the Ellington scores.

More to follow.

Good Morning!

I'm up, I'm up... And my roommate surprised me this morning by leaving a small box of chocolates from Max Brenner (Chocolates By The Bald Man) on the kitchen table last night.  -I made him some cookies this past weekend, so it was a very nice Thank You gift.  And since I'm being "good" right now, I most likely won't enjoy them until Sunday, but it will be worth the wait.

Sickness bags are located under your seat...

I used to know a girl in college Laura Something (Spiller?), who used to send her enemies air sickness bags with the note "Thinking of you."

I'm outa here!

Wednesday morning greetings!  It's a beautiful day here in SW Ohio, with hints of the warm temps that DR Cillaliz is sending from Iowa.

I have a midday meeting with the volunteer administrators, for whom I've just completed the April treasurer's report.

And there's also a recipe for "Hangtown Fry" - which was discussed here a few weeks ago - in today's Dining & Wine section.

Hold your hats and hallelujah - didn't DR JOSE say that Mr Mario Lopez opens tonight in A CHORUS LINE?

Hopefully those headsets will be turned off, so that there is NO interference during said performance.

He started last night.  I'm not sure if he's being "given" an official press opening - especially since there were a lot of press present at his put-in rehearsal last Friday.

What did y'all think of the Shubert-wife's YouTube rant yesterday?  Personally, I think it's one of the best things ever on YouTube.  :)

DR JMK - I thought it was morbidly fascinating in an accident/rubbernecker kind of way.

And it probably signals a whole new chapter in the decline of American civil discourse.   :)
