I keep reading about all this work elmore is doing, but never see The Brain From Planet X score cleanup listed.  Is that gone to the bottom of the pile?

That's weird. I am allergic to perfume and highly sensitive ot deodorant. But powder fresh (lady speed stick) is one of the only ones i can stand. I really love it.

Maybe the men's is more powerful.  Like you most scents bother me, but not the powder fresh.  I still prefer unscented.

I went back to bed at seven-thirty.  I was awakened by the phone at nine-thirty.  After, I went back to bed and then was awakened by the phone at ten.  After, I went back to bed and was awakened by the phone at ten-thirty.

And were the answers and responses you gave during these telephonic conversations cogent and well-reasoned?   ;)

One of DR elmore3003's lists in the past day or two mentioned "Brain Surgery."

Good Afternoon!

Greetings from New York City!

The car ride to the airport was very uneventful.  Although, initially, my father thought I was taking the train back up to NYC; luckily, the first part of the route is the same to either place.  The lines at the airport were non-existent, and since I had only gotten there about an hour before my flight left, I didn't have to long to wait after going through security.  The flight itself was very nice too, and there were some great segments on The New York Times channel on the in-plane TVs.  Once I got to JFK, there was the usual unusually long wait for the baggage to get from the plane to the terminal, but once it did, my bag was the third one on the carousel.  And, then since I really didn't feel like riding in a subway train for an hour and a half, I went ahead and splurged on a cab ride home.  -Thankfully, the fare from JFK into Manhattan is a mandated and regulated flat fee.

All in all, a very good travel day.  Thanks again for all the Vibes.

And since I've been home, I've been to the bank, picked up my dry cleaning, made a run to Whole Foods, made a smoothie, and even washed some dishes.  And in an hour or so, I think I'm going to head to gym, although, with the weather the way it is today, I'm actually thinking a lap or two around the Reservoir may be in order.  However, rain is in the forecast for this afternoon, so... Ah, well...

TOD:

I used to like animated films very much, but these days I prefer real drama about real people. That said, I was quite impressed with THE TRIPLETS OF BELLEVILLE--very clever, very well done.

I loved this movie, too. :D

Back to the Topic of the Day...

I still remember watching that Disney film of the Grand Canyon Suite once if not twice a year in grade school.  I loved the musical representation of the donkeys clip-clopping along the edge of the Canyon.

bk - I'm rethinking my plans to rent a car next week while I'm in L.A.  The only thing I really have "planned" right now is to attend a performance of The Brain.  Other than that, I'm just planning on relaxing and doing some more exploring (and eating, of course).  And since I managed to get by pretty well when I was out there the last time without a car using public transportation, well...  If I could get to a convenient pick-up spot, could I ride in with you one day to Anaheim and back?  *Although, I can also take a combination of the Metro and bus to get there too, so...

*I still have to crunch some numbers, but I'm just not looking forward to paying $4.00/gallon for gas.  -And I'm still a bit wary about driving in L.A. as it is.  But, as always, we shall see...

Is that because some of the actors were UNDRESSED?    ;)

TRA-LA, TRA-LAY
THE FIRST OF MAY!

Time to don gaily colored tights and sing madrigals from towers!  :)

I thought you did that in January, February, March, and April?

I found out last night that I'm teaching a Kenyan piece to the choir tonight, so I'd best get busy with my phonetic pronounciation guide!

A Skip Kenyan song?? :D

Oh, wait...it's Skip Kennon.  Nevermind.

**A friend of mine in Long Beach has kindly offered to pick me up at the airport and drive me to Los Feliz, since he has to work in that area the afternoon I get in, so...  Since I'll be saving some money there, I might as well save some more. ;)

Apparently I was too close to this:

Here is a side view. It's not a good shot, but it shows the length of the bill that was pointed at me:

bk, that's a bummer about your television.  All the more so because you tried to anticipate future technology, and asked.

Alas, the the electronics arena, technology keeps marching forward and supplanting.  Heck, with computers your new purchase is almost outmoded by the time you get it home and get it set up!

Actually, it is.  At least to me.  Mainly because the average speed on the road here in the City is only 5mph.  Crazy at times, yes.  But fast and crazy, no.
