Not the East Coast opening, but the East Coast Party for the West Coast opening - well, you know what I meant.  :)

And as Roger Rees is wont(?) to say, "I'd like to take this time to extend a warm hand on your opening."

Good morning, fellow Dear Readers. My DS went for a nice walk with me. Now I must attend yet another meeting.

We had a wonderful time with Priscilla last night. Dinner, conversation, red velvet cake. What more could we want?

Did the cake have cream cheese frosting?

DRs JRand & Singdaw-Thank you. Sherlock is back to his usual happy self this morning.  And he looks very handsome minus the tabs that looked like little ticks.

TOD:

I used to listen to and LOVE a three volume LP set, DUETS WITH THE SPANISH GUITAR. Laurindo Almeida on guitar and Salli Terri did the vocals. I did eventually find a CD of it, but it was a single CD and much was deleted. That was a real shame. Of course, I do still have my turntable, albeit in storage. I just don't play the LPs anymore.

Well, if I'm to indulge tonight at Fred & Skip's (and Dylan & Toby's), I best get to the gym now and spend a little bit of time on the treadmill.

Tonight, after dinner I'm off to see AUGUST:OSAGE COUNTY.   I just love New York.

DR Cilla, thanks for the photos.  It is obvious you were all enjoying yourselves.  I did indeed notice the beautiful roses.

I’ll want a full report on THE HEIGHTS.

DR elmore, thank you for the suggestions.

My dilemma is, I need to choose an author.  I’m not sure I can be picky about the exact choice of novel.  I think I’m going to push that minor detail. If it were up to me, I would choose a Dickens novel I haven’t read. ;D

I have added all the suggestions to my LONG list of “books to read”.

Some shows not on CD that I would like to see on CD:

The Last Sweet Days of Isaac
Philemon
Man of LaMancha [complete original London cast]
Ilya Darling [promised to be coming soon]
Gospel at Colonnus
Evening Primrose  [ oops!  We've got that one now!  ;) ]

Good Afternoon!

Back from the gym...  Surprisingly, it wasn't that busy today.  The few times I've gone on the weekends, it's been a bit crowded, but today was nice and "roomy". It was also nice to see the staff finally checking all the treadmills and other machines to make sure all their features work (properly).  -Of course, the incline buttons on the treadmill I was on were not working today, but that was okay since I was doing an interval run today.
