I'm watching a very good motion picture on DVD, but I'm having trouble sitting on my couch like so much fish - feeling antsy for some reason.

That's hilarious, Sing--the footage looked "real" to me but Gabe insisted it was CGI.  Out of the mouths...

DR JMK - Um.. Yeah.. The footage is definitely animated.  However, the video's description is quite "influential". ;)

The motion picture on DVD had one line of dialogue that made me laugh for about fifteen minutes straight, just because it was the kind of sentence I so frequently write in the notes.  In fact, it will the the title of the notes.

Certainly, no writer writing for films today would ever come up with such a line.  More's the pity.

I'm puzzling over local PBS handling of this.  Our one PBS station that broadcasts in hi-def is not airing it, but one of the three other PBS stations that broadcast digitally is airing it.

Is it airing in hi-def in markets other than George's?

We get MPTVHD (Maryland Public TV) on COMCAST

Tonight, I watched "Ugly Betty" and "Grey's Anatomy" as I recorded Camelot.  I'm also recording (but not watching) "Lost," because I haven't watched last week's episode.  Now, I just watched the end of Camelot...or "camel-snot," as I used to call it, when I was in a local production. ::)

I was enjoying UGLY BETTY until about 25 minutes in, the local ABC affiliate interrupted the broadcast with tornado warnings for counties above us. They stayed on for the remainder of BETTY and all of GREY'S ANATOMY.

On our local COMCAST, the weather warnings are broadcast as overlays on the show - i.e - they do not show up if you record it, or back-up and replay during air time.

Interesting.  I have Comcast but I don't think I've ever been recording when something like that has shown up.  But then, I don't remember ever seeing a "storm warning," at all.

AARRGGHH!!  I'm watching bits of Camelot that I just recorded and just after one hour or so, there is a few seconds of pixilation and then a couple of minutes of black...no picture and no sound! :P I set the DVR to record the re-broadcast on Saturday.  If there are problems with that as well, as long as the same section doesn't have the same defect, I'll be able to patch it together.  We'll see.

You probably don't get Mother Nature's big blow jobs the frequent high wind weather we have on the peninsula, particulary on the Cape.

Here's a picture of me and our Yoni, Emily Clark.  Lurking in the background is assistant to the director, Miss Adriana Patti.

Not without it looking like crap.  Is that the only size of that picture that you have?

We watched Camelot -- well, as much as we could with the bad picture. The sound was bad, too.

We played The Drinking Game with the name "Lancelot." Good thing we were drinking Juicy Juice.

And I loved Mordred -- even though I'm not quite sure what it was.
