Well, it was a slip of the finger. Jason's a good guy and I wouldn't dish him, but why this revival didn't use Starobin's originals. which were for only around 12 players - the same size as Roundabout's 110 IN THE SHADE, is beyond me.

Good Afternoon!

Well... I had a very good time playing auditions for Grey Gardens today. And, as it turned out, I had a very good/interesting time reading for Grey Gardens. The company/producer was short a "reader" for today's auditions, so I got to step in the shoes of Little Edie/Edith/Christine Ebersole/Mary Louise Wilson throughout the course of the afternoon. Consequently/subsequently, not only did I get to play for at least one Tony winner, five Tony nominees, at least one Grammy winner, and a slew of other venerable Ladies of the Theatre, I got to read opposite them too! -And I think I even managed to come up with a semi-decent - albeit sometimes there, sometimes not there - New England accent. -I was born in Boston, ya know.

*And I have to say, having to play for and read opposite Mary Louise Wilson's understudy was quite intimidating.

DR Jennifer - The thing to keep in mind is that the only reason Teri Hatcher was asked that question was because the creator of the show had already mentioned that in a couple of interviews. She was "allowed" to answer that question. She did not give any specifics away. And I don't believe she specified just how far they would go either.

I'm not a regular watcher of the show, but over the course of the past few weeks, there have been a couple of leaks/spoilers coming out ever since it was announced that there would be a definite "end" to "Desperate Housewives" in a few seasons. Now, as to how next season will open, well... Who knows?

**And as much as I know that you like to read the various TV forums - especially "tvwithoutpity" (?) - I, myself, would just stay away from them. Information will always be leaked - intentionally and unintentionally. If you like the show, just watch the show. I would rather have any questions I have answered by watching the next episode, rather than reading a bunch of speculation on a website.
