Doesn't anyone here own Chad Everett's album on MGM Records?   :)

DR JRand57, did you plant any moonflowers? I planted the ones my mother gave me last weekend.

And The Song Of The Day Is: SING

                                               (From A CHORUS LINE)

That's so weird!  On my way to work today, I was listening to a cassette tape of songs that I had put together for the preshow and intermission music for a local production of Angry Housewives from about 11 years ago.  When I turned on the tape, it was in the middle of "Good Morning Starshine" and the last lyrics are:

"Song, song, song, sing,
Sing, sing, sing song."

And the very next song that I put on the tape was "Sing" (as in "Sing, sing a song, make it simple to last your whole life long....") sung by the Carpenters. :)

This morning, on my way to work, and on DearReaderLaura DR's recommendation, WING entertained me with her renditions of some of ABBA's greatest hits.

I nearly drove off the road!   :)

Hee, hee.

I guess I am the only person in the world who doesn't like the movie TOOTSIE.  But then I may be the only person in the world who doesn't like Dustin Hoffman's performances.

Nope. I am lukewarm on TOOTSIE. Parts I think are wonderful; parts I think are tiresome. Hoffman has been since LENNY a chore for me to watch, and I find him much overrated especially as he's gotten older.

Worked with Beth - what a doll she is.  And she's so right for this, and it's so sweet of her to actually learn her songs, too.

Gonna go grab a bite to eat now.  I'm thinking of actually going to a restaurant with my Nudie script, just to make notes and to try and finish the new opening.  I've run the new opening by a few people and they all think it sounds just right.

I finished all of THE ODD COUPLE episodes in the season 4 set today. Included in some of these final episodes are special guest appearances by Marilyn Horne and Hugh Hefner (separate episodes, obviously).

Great to see William Redfield playing Felix's brother Floyd. Floyd owns a bubble gum factory that makes Unger Gum. So hilarious when Felix goes to work for him invented broccoli gum and opera trading cards inside bubble gum packets.

I had time to watch another NCIS episode from season 1. The death of a marine paratrooper when his chutes didn't open. Nice surprise ending as to the guilty party.
