Why does "East to be hard" sound almost like the punchline to one of Bette Midler's Sophe jokes?

I'm all caught up with THE TUDORS: heads rolled one after another. William Brereton's false charge, after a head-to-head with Cromwell on another matter, was left out of the storyline, which would have reinforced the witch hunt.  George Boleyn's wife in this production is more wronged than just plain crazy, although she certainly condemned him fast enough. My memory of her in the SIX WIVES OFV HENRY VIII is much meaner and evil; she'll get hers in Catherine Howard's story if the series goes that long.

Shall we have a "DO OVER"?   :)

DR Ron,

There are only two more seasons of LOST left, not four. 32 episodes in all are left.

Matt, I am curious.  When you review a show like 7TH HEAVEN that you so thoroughly dislike; do you slam the show because it isn't your cup of tea, or are you reviewing it more for the quality of the DVD and the extras that are lncluded?

I can send you a link once the review goes up so you can see for yourself (it's going up later tonight), but if you want to spare yourself the trouble, I can answer here.

I admit such a show is not my cup of tea in the review (though I try to be as objective as possible by finding the good among the bad. I have rarely flat out panned anything. There's usually something positive to say if one looks for it. Being nasty and sarcastic is easy, but I don't go for that kind of blanket panning.) Still, no reviewer worth his salt is going to like everything, so the thing about reading reviewers is if you're going to depend on them to guide your viewing choices, then you find one who seems to jive with your own likes and dislikes. Or you if you don't need guidance for that, you read them for information and fun.

My reviews, as are all the reviews on better sites, critique the material as well as the quality of the video, audio, and bonuses. I think all of those things are vital to someone wanting to decide whether to rent or buy a certain title.

Well, I'm happy to say that I did indeed finish 7TH HEAVEN tonight. There was a heap of foolishness about the Jewish father of the bride and the Christian father of the groom weren't going to attend the wedding (enough to spread over TWO episodes). Peter Graves (as the father of the Christian father) talked sense finally to his son and made him see his utter stupidity.
