Back for rehearsal and awaiting the arrival of all concerned.  I spent most of the morning at Panera proofing the book.  I only have about fifty pages to go and there's a chance that Grant might be able to do the fixes late this afternoon, which would be great as I'd love to get them out of the way.  If that happens, then I won't go to see The Brain tonight - I'll go tomorrow afternoon.  He'll call me on my cell whilst I'm at the book fair.

Good Evening!

Yep... Replacing a shower curtain liner is much easier - and takes much less time - then cleaning it.

Busy day so far for this resident of the Beaver state.

The trailer looks funny...http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QrpwtoZMSZk

I watched an NCIS episode while I cooked and ate lunch. In it, a Marine wife is distraught to find out her husband has died, and then she gets a phone call from him telling her he's not dead.

I managed to watch one more episode this afternoon. Amasing how much Alan Dale (Mr. Whidmore on LOST and Daniel's late father on UGLY BETTY) has been around on TV during this decade. He was the original NCIS director (before Lauren Holly took the job.) Will be curiuous to see in upcoming episodes (or upcoming seasons) how he gets replaced.

Then I watched a very interesting profile on author David McCullough on HBO-HD. What a fascinating man he is!

I am sleepy.  I mowed this morning and then went to Penneys to order some Bali double cell celulose shades for the living room.  I've been putting it off because of the cost (I need 5 of them). Since they have to be special ordered, they are more. But they had them at 60% off then 15% off of that and by opening an account I got another 10% off of that with free shipping.  It was a good enough deal to get them.  I had planned to paint before I got the shaades, but with this sale, I just couldn't wait.

As they were placing my order for the shades, one of the clerks looked at my shirt and said "We should all be wearing that!"    It was my CURTAINS shirt, lol.

I also tried on about 3 closets full of clothes on sale and found one suit that I liked. It was on sale and was the first thing I tried on.

Then I got my hair cut.  I don't really like it, but I never like it the first day so we'll see.

Think I'll take a nap.

The Sioux City Journal had a story today about the group of 72 women who were part of the audience last night. They were so funny and were a great audience

Vol. 3?  Watching it this afternoon, too.  Zach keeps asking me "Does this mean anything?"

Speaking of HBO, I'm also making it through John Adams.  Loving everything but the "tarted up" camerawork.  Why in heaven's name do so many young directors do this stupid, unneeded handheld camera stuff?

Well, I'm pretty sure if I do end up having to fast on Monday, it won't be due to eating balut.  -However, there will most likely be some lumpia, pancit, adobo, halo-halo(!).

I don't know the names of all the different food. But I do love most of the food i have tasted.  I do know adobo (my sister's nephew LOVES it).

There are 2 dishes that my brother-in-law's aunt makes that i just swoon over. One is these special spring rolls. I LOVE these. And the other is thin noodles (like you get at a chinese restaurant) with veggies and chicken or pork. That is so good.

Whenever my sister has a party her hubbies relatives bring the most delicious food!

Wasn't Upen Patel the center of all those internet stories last week?
