DR LAURA - stopping to see is a blessing.....too many people DON'T!

I know; that's my position.

I guess I need to do both.

DR DearReaderLaura - You know...  Maybe if you stop eating a bag of pork rinds each time you go for a walk, that might help with your cholesterol.

Before going on any diet, you should discuss it with your position.

RE: last night's premiere of THE MOLE

I actually really enjoyed it. The cast looks interesting. So it should be fun.

SPOILERS FROM LAST NIGHT'S SHOW

The one thing that did bother me though was that the person who got eliminated was one of my early favorites. I hate when that happens. It often takes a while to really warm up to anyone. But i really liked her. :(

I also would love to know how people who win the game or come in near the end do their tests. Obviously there is no real way for them to know who the mole is at this point. So do they select one or two people who they think could be the mole and split their answers?  Do they try to answer as fast as possible so if they are one of people tied for lowest that they move on?  Or do they go with what the majority would be for that answer.

I'm also really curious to know if the mole would try to really hold back in the first shows (i.e., would they drop the money basket in the first task or actually catch it).

Okay I do have one recipe that my 2 year old niece loves. It is very good.
Although she announced to me last night (on the phone) that she does not like onions.

Mmmmm Meatballs:

Ingredients:

1 1/2 lbs minced beef
1 cup ketchup
1/2 cup brown sugar
3/4 cup water
1 tbsp worchestershire sauce (or lemon juice)
1 small onion finely chopped

Boil a pot of water. Make meatballs and add to water. Boil of 7 minutes timing from last meatball added. Drain water.

Mix together the rest of the ingredients for suance and add to meatballs. Bring to a boil and then cover and simmer for 15 minutes.

I usually add extra ketchup to the sauce because i like it very saucy. And i don't measure the meat. So sometimes i have more than 1 1/2 pounds.

The other day, Zach was pulling a bit as we stepped out of the house.  I lost my balance and my forearm scraped quite a distance along the top of the very rusty wrought iron railing lining the steps.  I got some nasty looking gashes and scrapes.  But they are now starting to heal up.  And I think I disinfected it well enough, so that's good.

Was it just the one forearm?   ;)

I might just have to make that chocolate pie once Ron posts the recipe.

Get the larger pie crusts if you buy them at the market.  It makes a "deep" pie!  And get fresh eggs.  You're gonna be whippin' up a meringue topping, too!

Using a hand-mixer, start to beat Jell-O until it cools down, lightens and starts to "fluff".

Stop when you've burned the motor out on your mother's hand-mixer.

Somehow, I have strange funny ideas running through my minds about a snappy retort or insinuating snark I'd love to make regarding the automated gadgets an industrious son might burn out from overuse.

But I won't post it here.   No I won't!

I'm sure he wearing a big tool belt.  Very big.

Sounds a bit like overcompensation, doesn't it!
