The chicken has bones, yes. It's not a full chicken. It's chicken legs (well i think that is what they call that cut at the supermarket).
Well, if you were planning on putting it on the grill for 20 minutes
after precooking it, you'd have some pretty over-cooked chicken.
Just treat the grill as you would a saute pan and oven in regards to cooking times. It's just a different way to get the heat into the chicken, a different method of cooking.
