I should say, I've never been to NYC when my plans didn't change 2 or 3 times while I was there, lol. I learned very quickly just to accept that and I always seem to have a good time.

Hey, get this! We paid off the charge for the trip, plane and hotel, and then today I'm told I have two weeks and then the project I'm working on will have the funding stopped, sooo I'm out of a job in 2 weeks! Lovely, huh? What luck!

Yeah, I had just had my 1 yr anniversary there and wondered why I hadn't had my review yet and then this. Before that I was at a different place for 5 years and they went belly up and went bankrupt. Tell me things will get better?

No, you shouldn't need approval. I'm sure someone here can help you put it in. I don't remember why it doesn't show up sometimes. Others understand that better than I do.

...And while walking through the East Village earlier, I happened upon a still sort of new-ish coffee place, Abraço Espresso. It truly is just a coffee shop. No real seating area, and each cup of coffee/espresso is ground and brewed/dripped to order. And they also have a small selection of sweet and savory selections. Today, I tried one of their Cured Olive Cookies - basically shortbread studded with black olives. In short, an amazing combination of sweet, salty, buttery, briney and yummy!

No, it really isn't.

However, you can get a very good shake and/or ice cream sandwich (graham cracker with blueberry, peanut butter cookie with chocolate, etc.) at the 'wichcraft ice cream kiosk in Bryant Park which is just three blocks from your hotel.

When an avatar does not show up, it usually means that the file size is too big - either in actual pixel size and/or megabyte size.

DR Julie, I agree with the others about NY...the first time (and the second time) I went I had plans to see this and that...well, the first day all those plans went into the trash and I just decided to walk around all day, all over Manhattan, and had a blast!

I've finished highlighting all the scripts for the actors who only play one part - nine. Tomorrow or Saturday I'll do the ensemble, which are more difficult as I have to keep referencing the master list to see who I assigned to what role.

I came home today after buying a wireless doorbell (I need to have something that I can hear on the second floor of my place, where I spend most of my time) and in my mail box were two, count 'em TWO packages from HHW people!
