I am using the day to do a few tasks around home, run some errands, and relax as much as I possibly can before we jump into tech week for Guys and Dolls. At work, I'm also helping to coordinate our 3rd annual Pride celebration which happens on Wednesday night- I feel tired just thinking about all I have to get done between now and the end of the week.

Best of luck to BK on his reading tonight!

Thanks everyone for the vibes. It feels nice to read it when you otherwise basically feel like crap. I appreciate it.

I just got an email from my mom that her co-worker brought a frozen turkey to work and she wants to give it to me. It is one of those cook from frozen turkeys filled with stuffing.

We open Saturday night (at 9:30PM!). I am also currently experiencing a drawback of celebrating Jewish holidays- the show is at the Riverdale YMHA and they are observant. We cannot have rehearsal tonight or tomorrow night. Tonight we are allowed to sneak in and be fitted for costumes. We also had to get permission to come in on friday and saturday to build the sets. It will be a tight squeeze to get everything in place for Saturday. Perhaps a pray for Rosemary's baby would be appropriate here.

I have no idea why Killbot and Pierre think that wrestling is an appropriate hot day activity. Kids!

Sci-Fi Movies?

Having grown up during the 1950s, I have a special affection for THEM! and THE BEAST FROM 20,000 FATHOMS.

You may not know it, but both films were accounts of actual incidents, suppressed by the Government.

How could we have gone so long without Gary Cooper, which I was just about to do?  I went back to bed for ten minutes, to no avail.

Vibes for DR Jennifer!

We don't have our list yet - did anyone do Graham Chapman of Monty Python?

If we were doing famous foods we could, of course, have Graham Cracker.

Depending on how late lunch runs, I may be able to finish AMERICAN GANGSTER's three remaining episodes this afternoon. (I would love to do this and get it out of the way). Then, I'd have time to watch something for fun tonight.

I plan to start on JERICHO tomorrow.

Good morning.

I also didn't sleep well and woke up too early. (Doncha just hate it when that happens? You don't have to get up early, but you wake up anyway. Sigh.)

I'm not much for science fiction.

GC? Or CG? Or SF?
I like the "creative" submissions best.

I think I'm brain-dead at the moment.
