I am enjoying one of the benefits of working for the Jewish Board of Family and Children's Services- Jewish holidays!

Damn!  Why didn't anyone tell me before I left for work!

We open Saturday night (at 9:30PM!). I am also currently experiencing a drawback of celebrating Jewish holidays- the show is at the Riverdale YMHA and they are observant. We cannot have rehearsal tonight or tomorrow night. Tonight we are allowed to sneak in and be fitted for costumes. We also had to get permission to come in on friday and saturday to build the sets. It will be a tight squeeze to get everything in place for Saturday. Perhaps a pray for Rosemary's baby would be appropriate here.

So no Friday night performances?  Well, break a knish!

Am I mistaken, or has TPunk been in rehearsal for this production for, at least, forty days and forty nights?

Well, the DH is going to be in San Francisco for a convention at the end of June and beginning of July.  I'm doing research to find out what the requirements are, but I may just hop a quick flight out to CA and back so that we can legally be married before the courts shut it down.  NY State has already ruled that it will recognize the marriage.  The November CA ballot referendum may render it null and void, but I still think it's worth it to try.

Oh, how wonderful!  Are you registered?

TCB - Were you the one who asked about whether has ever been a musical version of DAVID AND LISA?

Here's info about the musical LISA AND DAVID, based on the same novel as DAVID AND LISA.

Yes, I was the one.  Thank you FJL.  I am sure the real musical didn't have the song list that I came up with.................

Got news that DR jhvw's procedure went well and he is at home.  If anyone wants details let me know, I really don't want to post it without him saying it's ok.  Thanks for the vibes
