We are having crazy weather today.  Heavy winds and lots of rain.  The high temperatures never made out of the 50s

Got news that DR jhvw's procedure went well and he is at home.  If anyone wants details let me know, I really don't want to post it without him saying it's ok.  Thanks for the vibes

Great news! :)

And I've got a dinner to prepare.

Poached chicken breasts sauced with avegolemono.  Rice.  And zucchini fritters with tziziki (or however that is spelled).

As DR MustKnow requested - news from the future:

June 10th.
Ant. (partner of DR Ben) will have an enjoyable birthday - there will be much music.  There may be pressures to invest in the convenience of a cell phone!

On another subject, what is everyone ordering from DD or DVDPlanet on the current sales?  I am just so buried under review stuff right now, I have barely even started to look.  I have the original Jay Ward George in the Jungle and the Criterion Renoir The River in my shopping cart right now, but I haven't even placed an order yet.  This is probably the first time in years I haven't spent hundreds of dollars right out of the gate (with two or three return trips).

Who is it that is having the big sale?  Do you need to have a code to get a discount?  How long does the sale last?

Oh well, it doesn't really matter.

Hall of Fame baseball catcher Gary Carter, he played for the former Montreal Expos.

Wow that brings back a lot of memories.

I was a big Expos fan.

DR Jennifer - Turnips can be white inside too.  And the size of a large onion too.  However, rutabagas tend to be larger than turnips.  And then there's kohlrabi...
