Voldemort is basically a middle school girl: he has a locket, a diary, a tiara, a ring, and is completely obsessed with a teenage boy.

Who is it that is having the big sale?  Do you need to have a code to get a discount?  How long does the sale last?

I don't know how long it lasts, but I just ordered (literally...just 20 minutes ago) the DVD to Company with Raul Esparza.  The normal DD price was $16.88, but with one of the codes, I got an additional discount of $3.38. :D Here's the list of codes that Ron (I think) posted:

DDAF
DEALNEWS
DVDTALK
ESPN
JIM
LATIMES
NYTIMES
PRICESEARCH
SOUTHSIDE
SUMMERSALE
SUPERSALE
USATODAY
WGN
XM
YAHOO

I'm currently watching "Legally Blonde The Musical: The Search For Elle Woods".  Tonight, they are featuring Nikki Snelson who currently plays Brook Wyndam in Legally Blonde Cassie in the national tour of A Chorus Line.

I'm flipping back and forth between Legally Blonde and Nashville Star.   There's a girl on Nashville star from not too far from here. So, I was curious.  She's the one with the brand new big boobs and the big cross around her neck.  I think of it as big boobs for jesus

In other news...

I had a thoroughly enjoyable lunch at Crif Dogs.  I got a plain Crif Dog just for reference, and then a "Sourcheese Dog" one (sliced half-sour pickles and melted cheese). YUM!  YUM!  And an ice cold Birch Beer to wash it all down.  :)

*I was originally hoping to grab a slice from Artichoke Basille's Pizza & Brewery, but the brothers who run it, apparently, decided to close on Mondays and/or because of the heat.  For all I know, they might have opened after I left the East Village.  *There were a couple of storefronts that had signs posted: "Will Open Later Today When It's Cooler".

A friend of mine recently saw August:Osage County. He said it was about his family, I laughed and said "No, it's about MY family, lol"

About to watch the Legally Blonde show at 11, but is there any issue raised over Marc Bruni having worked for Emma Zaks' father in the past?

Not on the show, at least not that I saw. I missed some of it as I checked in on the Iowa girl on Nashville Star.

I had a great evening of all high definition entertainment.

I began with ELIZABETH on HD-DVD. This is my first time seeing it in HD (had the sDVD and watched it several times). However, I was surprised to see Daniel Craig in the cast (which had escaped me in previous viewings).

It is a MUCH better, sharper transfer than ELIZABETH THE GOLDEN AGE which I watched a month or two ago. It's a better movie, too, even with all the liberties taken with history.

I noticed that the screenwriter is the same man who writes THE TUDORS so I guess he's used to fudging on history by now.

At 8 p.m., I watched the BONES repeat. Weird premise (similar to a CSI episode from several years ago), but I still enjoyed it.

I concluded my evening of HD entertainment by watching THE BOURNE IDENTITY on HD-DVD. Though the disc looked excellent, it wasn't as sharp as THE BOURNE ULTIMATUM on HD-DVD.

I did not remember Clive Owen as one of the assassins.

It's always a nice surprise to watch these films again and see actors whom you didn't know the first times around that you know very well now.

They're already suggesting on All that Chat that Nikki Snelson get a daytime show called "Quality Time with Nikki Snelson"

TOmorrow I will be starting JERICHO - The Second Season. Glancing through the set, it looks as if there is a commentary with every episode. So, I may be watching these shows twice each to appreciate fully what has been produced here.

Of course, DR Noel got to spend "Quality Time with Marc Bruni" last fall, who seems too young to have that extensive a resume.

Am I mistaken, or has TPunk been in rehearsal for this production for, at least, forty days and forty nights?

Yes, at least that long.

Friday night was the annual church ladies dinner.  The women all gatehr and have dinner and watch a show performed by the church youth (who also act as servers)

This year's production was a murder mystery. The Vixter played a French cabaret singer. The part clled fore her to be arrested and handcuffed just as she was introduced for her second number, being a true performer she dragged the hapless detective to the microphone and inisted on singing her number before being dragged off

The show was very funny and the kids did a great job (and I didn't guess the identity of the real murderer)
