I have shaved
Cause my face was hairy
I have shaved
Now my face is smooth
I have shaved
And soon I will shower
Then I'll leave
That's the truth

The memorial service begins at six and we're promised it will go no later than eight.  I've heard that before.

(The above an extremely obscure joke for the observant Jews lurking out there in the dark).

It even made (the non-Jewish) me laugh!

No the counseling sessions were to explain to me why my blood would have to be tagged for patient use only.  Which is why I was there in the first place.

Ahh.

A friend of mine had a man with a shotgun on her wedding cake, along with the bride and groom. I'm sure you can guess why...

Good Evening!

It was another glorious afternoon here in NYC.  I headed down to Columbus Circle, where I picked up the latest David Sedaris book at Border's, as well as a nice late lunch from Bouchon (Peppered Turkey and Coleslaw on a Caraway Roll, one of their homemade Nutter Butters and a PinkGrapefruit Soda).  Then it was over to Central Park where I settled on a bench near the softball diamonds where I enjoyed my lunch and managed to complete all but three of the clues in today's NY Times Crossword Puzzle.  -Not bad for a Thursday puzzle.

Collin Wilcox lives in NC near my brother and is best friends with my editor friend John in NY. So I've been up to her house and her theatre (she started the Instant Theatre Company there, years ago) a few times. She's very nice, and the theatre is a great addition to a beautiful area mostly devoid of "culcher".

I think he should buy and wear the item I linked to in my previous post.

He'd be very distinctive, very noticeable, and he'd be making a serious fashion statement.

Actually, I was thinking of donning one of my Lestat "souvenirs".  ;)
