They're not too bad actually.  They taste like ants.

Let me know if you find any that taste like uncles! ;)

During Sunday's Tony Awards' Par-tay, if any of the East Coasters just can't contain themselves from spoilers, feel free to PM me.  I will be in bed and asleep, long before the broadcast starts on the Left Coast.

I can't believe tomorrow is Friday.  I have worked so hard for so many weeks and have gotten almost nothing done this week. I suppose that isn't all bad.

As a matter of fact, I should be heading off to the bedroom in a few minutes.  I have M.C. Beaton's DEATH OF A GENTLE LADY that I want to get back to reading.

Think I'll go get some ice cream and see how full the rivers are around here.  Thank god they invested millions in flood projects here or part of Sioux City would likely be under water.

I loved Anderson Cooper on MY LIFE ON THE D LIST. The premiere episode was quite funny.

My DH and I went out for pizza. Sitting behind me were two people working a very easy crossword, and having not a clue about the most basic entries.

There were about a dozen times I felt like turning around and screaming the answer at them. My favorite thing they came up with was for the clue: "Dustin, in MIDNIGHT COWBOY". After going around and around with Hoffman and not understanding why it didn't fit, they worked more of the puzzle and came up with the answer: "Fatso"!

Of course, it should have been "Ratso" Rizzo. And they weren't even drunk...they were drinking Diet Coke!

DR Cillaliz, that's cool that oyu were willing to go down and donate blood!

I also have issues with the Red Cross, but that's because my father disliked them so much when he was serving in WWII.

Betty White is very cute on Million Dollar Password.

She's hilarious and sharp as a tack. I hope I have half of my wits about me when I get to be her age.

I began my evening of viewing with IT HAPPENED IN BROOKLYN. This was a "minor" MGM musical that has a fabulous score. And Sinatra's rendition of "Time After Time" is peerless. It's almost embarrassing when Kathryn Grayson sings it later in the movie. Garland might have been able to match it at that time her career, but Grayson isn't even in the ballpark.

And Peter and Kathryn make a wonderful, beautiful couple.

I've been watching in bits and pieces the HBO special on the career/life and hard times of Joe Louis. Such a very sad story.

I watched PASSWORD, and both celebrity players did fine jobs. I also found both of the winning contestants ingratiating people, the kind you really pull for and want to win.

As DR Elmore said, MY LIFE ON THE D-LIST had a funny season premiere. Loved Kathy at the Producers Guild Awards. She really takes no prisoners. Just hilarious.

And I concluded my evening with tonight's FEAR ITSELF with guest stars Eric Roberts and Jack Noseworthy. Yes, it was a tad spooky, but I saw that surprise ending coming from a LONG distance away.

I see the peregrines are nesting again in fargo...

http://www.prairiepublic.org/features/riverwatch/project_falcon/index_frame.html

They have the cam down now but should be up again tomorrow.

They have been nesting for over 7 years. They see the bank as a cliff... Their natural habitat.

Seems like some comedy writer had equipped Betty white with a few quips, though.
