Welcome, welcome, DR Amy!And thanks very much for the recipe! We never have enough recipes here on HHW.
Or enough Amys!
Well, I'm off for a day of cul-cha
Thanks, DR Matt H. I was going to post about the initial new Strachey offering on Here!, having seen their ad in the new issue of The Advocate. On our cable network, Here! is structured so that you pay a nominal amount each month to have the access to their menu of offerings, any of which you can choose to view with no additional per-title fee.
Wha'?
How nominal is nominal?
As for the Friday Media Check:Sergio Mendes - "Encanto" - Boy do the tracks on this album make a subway ride go by very fast! And there's just no way for me to listen to this without dancing a little bit and smiling.
Tummy better vibes

And there's just no way for me to listen to this without dancing a little bit and smiling.A Catered Affair OCR - I was a bit hesitant about purchasing this since I was not too thrilled by the show in person, however, in some ways it works better on record. -From a licensing standpoint, I just have to wonder how Harvey Fierstein's music is notated. Kelli O'Hara - "Wonder in the World" - It's a good album, but most definitely a mellow album. Alas, I do share the same quibble that a lot of the Critics have with the album - the re-arranged and re-grooved "Fable" from The Light in the Piazza. It really does sound a bit forced. And the quasi-Latin treatment of "I Have Dreamed", well... In The Heights OCR - Calor! Calor!! Calor!!!Eric Cutler, tenor; Bradley Moore, pianist - "Debut" - I came across this recital disc while browsing at Virgin. It actually came out a few years ago, and is/was a part of EMI's "Debut" series - I think Nathan Gunn's first recital disc was released under this imprint too. And it was only $8.00! Quite a nice disc, and it's nice to hear Bradley Moore again - I remember him from his days at the University of Maryland.
