We are currently the fifth highest posting day ever - and if we have another nineteen postings, we'll achieve the fourth highest posting day ever.

Wow, In the Heights - WHAT a surprise.  Guess Cubby didn't work out.

Well... You need to view the two-part finale of the Cubby Bernstein "saga".  -Mama Rose appears in Part One!

What do they mean on those CRY BABY photos when they say "Large images may be expanded by clicking on them."

There's nothing to interpret there.

The question now is how long Xanadu and other shows hang on.  As most people know, Xanadu has had mostly losing weeks since it's opened.  Great reviews, small audiences, lots of paper.  The producers apparently would not say die under any circumstances and because of it got a tour going out.  I suspect that when the books are closed on the Broadway version, it will be a total write-off - the tour, however, may get them some of that dough back - depending on their deal.

I'm totally shocked by those CRY BABY photos.  Especially how they look totally comfortable touching each other while wearing almost nothing.  This is not my great-grandmother's Broadway, I tell ya.

CATTY RESPONSE #2:

Well, could it have been your great-uncle's Broadway?

And if you'd like to see and hear him sing in French - and with longer hair - CLICK HERE.

*That Ravel song cycle, "Don Quichotte á Dulcinee", is one of my favorite song cycles - to play and sing.

On my computer, the picture is squished. :-\ It (and he) sounds good, though.  When I was in college, I learned this.  I was never very good, but I got by. ;)

OH!!!

And I could have used "Is it because I'm a lesbian" - or some variation thereof - in response to finding out that DR Ginny's DH Richard does not like Gypsy.

I realized I hadn't read the comments under the fotos until my fourth visit to that scandalous display.  Someone comments on the "bulge discrepancy" between the two photos of Charlie Sutton.

What an interesting site, Jose.  I mean, I'll only read it for the feature articles, of course.

I think "Don't Walk Away" was a smart number to perform on the Tonys.  It provided a nice showcase for the leading man, and it was a good representation of the whimsy of the show.  -Love the flying unicorn!  *And it will most likely become a "default" choice for the people who won't/can't score a ticket to In the Heights.

And once Cry Baby posts its closing notice, well...

*And if you want to talk about low numbers, just look at Passing Strange...

It's all about the cut of the suit and the camera angles.

I hear Charlie Sutton is featured in the dyslexic version of MAME, the one that has the song "Where's that boy with the bulge?"

I've located a copy of Mr Byrd's Hollywood Album in the UK.

The only Byrd LP I have is "The Great Byrd".  It has is version of the Lullabye from Rosemary's Baby.  (Often refered to a Gypsy Rose Lee)

Perhaps the Lullabye to Rose's baby was Patti Cake Patti Cake. (or is that a Sweeney Todd reference)
