Major Domo - Dick Latessa's character in FOLLIES.
Sorry, can't allow this one.  Majordomo is one word.  On top of which, it is a title, not the name of a character.

(Uh-oh!  Woody's got the day off!)

OK, so we all flunked the radiation test.  There's lots of other jobs than at this damned nuclear reactor.  I heard they're hiring exit signs at the local theater.  C'mon!

*And from the way my sinuses feel this morning, I can already tell that it's quite humid outside, and that we're due for an afternoon of thunderstorms.

Wow!  Found a $159 weekend rate at the Ritz Carlton in Pentagon City, which seems to be only 3.5 miles from the Signature Theatre (where THE VISIT is playing).

Looks like the same type of room would be $359 on a weeknight.

Can anyone see a down side to taking a low rate at a Ritz Carlton?

OH!  That's a great location too!  You're basically right in the Pentagon City Mall - which is right next to Pentagon Row and across the street from CostCo/Border's/CPK/etc.  -In other words, lots of good dining choices within walking distance.  *Just remember that if you want to walk over to Pentagon Row, you have to walk down to and through the Food Court at Pentagon City.  There is no pass through on the Ground Level of the parking lot - as I find out from time to time.  ;)

Now, as for that $7.00 cab ride?  Hmm... I guess it could be if there's no traffic.  It's one exit away down/up I-395, so it shouldn't be a major cab fare even in traffic.  *And that's a pretty active taxi stand there since it covers the hotel, the mall and the metro (which is right there too).

I am glad I was able to walk on it then; it hurts more now. And the swelling is quite impressive.

The thunderstorms are south and east of Pittsburgh, so, in DR ColeSlaw's universe, that means they're very close to NYC.     ;D
