Don't you have your initials reversed?
Ooops.

I've done that kind of thing before.

I think I'm getting dyslexic in my dotage.   ::)

THE MOLE

BONES repeats the episode that introduced Dr. Sweets (John Francis Daley) to the show. I'm looking forward to watching it again.

re: the express lane.

The thing most people here are forgetting is that it is different in every place. I didn't say that i walked up to the express lane with 12 items (3 of each).  I just said that WHERE I LIVE i believe that people think the rule is per kind not per item.

Anyway here every grocery store has the serve yourself.

And in addition ALL the express lanes all serve as customer service (returning bottles, doing lottery tickets...) There is another entrance to the express cash and those people don't wait in the same line but still get the express cashier.

I don't try to act rude. And actually try to be very considerate of others.
So that was sort of mean to say.

Jennifer, take it from the professional:

"Items" refers to each item, individually, scanned as such.

It does not mean entire batches of the same kind of thing all counting as one item.  If it has to be scanned, then it is an item.

Admittedly, this can get confusing with produce, where some items are counted by weight and others by the piece.  Oranges, for example, are by weight.  Grapefruit are per each.  And this can vary from store to store.  But generally, the signage will tell you if something is "each" or "per pound."

Rule of thumb: if anyone is giving you a nasty stare, you're probably violating the rule.
