Monday afternoon greetings!  After my second blood thinner shot at 6pm today, I'm being released from the hospital.  Thanks, DR der Brucer, for the explanation of INR.  Mine's not where they want it yet, but they feel that my therapy can continue at home.

Romy Schneider

DR Ginny, this is an excuse to lie around the house and eat bonbons. Enjoy it.

I believe my brother Macbeth is on the same medication ever since he hearly died several years ago through lousy local hospital surgery. i'm glad you're going home.

Another Whovian bit:

Ricky Smith.  Character.  The name The Doctor used to call Rose's boyfriend, Mickey Smith, in order to taunt him.  But then, when they travelled to a parallel Earth, it turned out that the parallel Mickey had been named Ricky (and that Rose was the name of childless Pete and Jackie's dog!).

Can someone familiar with the Doyle Company explain something to me--are there are offstage musicians, too, or at least a pianist?  For example, on Another Hundred People?  Or was it pre-programmed Disclavier stuff, or somesuch?  Thanks--need the info for my review.

...

Yeah, DR Elmore, the irony is that's what I was already doing, recovering from the foot surgery, and one theory is that's what brought this about.  I, however, think the beginnings of the blood clots were there more than a month ago and were brushed off by my primary care physician.  In that respect, it's a good thing that the surgery accelerated the problem or I could have just been walkin' around one day and - Blammo! - pulmonary embolism.
