One and the same department:  as I suspected when I got their shipping confirmations via email and they looked suspiciously familiar, DVDPlanet is indeed the same company as Deep Discount (and Critics' Choice, actually).  My first two DVDPlanet shipments arrived today from the good ol' DD address (and with those same nice boxes, LOL).  That means you can order really cheap (DVDPlanet), pretty cheap (Deep Discount) or not very cheap (Critics' Choice).  Since both DVDPlanet and Deep Discount are still running their 20% off sales, I've done comparison shopping on everything I've ordered--only one thing was cheaper on DD, which really surprised me.

I am catching up on seasons 1 + 2 of THE HILLS on mtv.ca (in my case).
I've never really watched tv online. But i must say it is disappointing that you cannot access most US channels shows from Canada.

I’m sorry I did not take my camera this morning, if only I had known I would be at the lake.  We saw a multitude of beautiful birds, including an eagle, heron & an osprey.  The lake was filled with morning fisherman & several rowing teams plus one lone kayaker.  We walked through wildflowers & grasses up to 6 feet high & the wild roses on the Rose Hips bushes were in full bloom.

I have hopefully made clear that my issue with 1960s-era Technicolor is separate from the yellow-transfer issue of FANNY.

I appreciate your (misguided) mimicking of my earlier "nervious" post:

Thanks Cilla.  I'm pretty much the same, I move forward then lift something I shouldn't & back I go again.  The other day I was moving boxes in the garage looking for a missing item.  I didn't find the item, I did however bother my hip.  I'm better today but still can't sit more than a few minutes at a time.

Jane,

Face the mirror.

Repeat the sage advice you gave Ginny and Laura about "taking it easy".

If God wanted you in the garage moving boxes, he would not have made Keith.

And a HUGE Sigh of Relief for DR Elmore3003!

And it's deposited into my account. The singer was told by his lying bitch business manager that she mailed it on Friday. If that were so, the envelope would be postmarked Friday or saturday, depending on the time of deposit on Friday. I could have had the damned thing on Saturday or Monday if the bitch had mailed it on the 18th or 19th.

This has caused needless hell and I am not happy.

;D  I really didn't think they were heavy, until later when I began hurting.  The strength in my wrists & arms is pathetic, which is probably why I bent the wrong way & flared up my sciatica.

That is weird - because I copied your article into Word to check on something else and the "sumptious" got an automatic red misspelling indication.

(On first read-through I thought you forgot to introduce the Cesar character, but I was in error).

I was tick free, Sherlock didn't join me on this one.  I did need to shower & wash the pollen, or whatever was on the overgrowth, off of me.  Now I'm not itching anymore. though I'm still sniffling some.

DR Jane:  You're supposed to listen to the words and do what they say when doing the "Hokey Pokey."  You won't bend the wrong way when you put your left foot out and shake it all about.

I'm not sure of the cause/effect here.  I just know that you report LAUGHING a lot.  Which isn't characteristic.    ;)

Tut-tut!  I was LAH-fing...not LAUGHING.

Is that a new model complete with all the necessary bells and whistles to enjoy all the perks of the Blu-ray discs?

Yes, unless you're interested in an internet connection to do live interaction on the internet to go along with the other features on the Blu-ray. The Magnavox doesn't have an ethernet connection.

If I remember correctly, you don't use the internet connection with your XA2 so I doubt you'd need the connection with the Blu-ray.

No, no, not at the present time.  I wouldn't rule it out in the longterm....but that will require a relocation to a larger facility where I can have a computer in the same room with the TV equipment.
