What an anomaly!  It's nearly lunch time.  I'm the sole occupant of my office (!!!) as four people are out today and the other two are in meetings.

Just me and my computer....and all you wonderful people out there in the dark!

As you can tell, it was a very short meeting.

I think what happened was that after I fell asleep, the other participants snuck out and turned off the lights on me.

I think a lovely fluffy omlette with some of DR RLP's homemade red sauce over the top would be mighty tasty for dinner!

What homemade red sauce?  Are you talking about my spaghetti sauce?

Yes.  You mean it isn't homemade?

First, let me say Welcome, New D(ear) R(eader) AJameson!!  You said that you embalm people?  I have a friend here in Tumwater, Washington who is a mortician.  He said that for him, it was a "calling."  He loves working with people and being able to help them through tough times.

Yes, well...a nice embalming will certainly alleviate the stress.

I'm surprised, frankly, that they don't offer this in more of the top-line spas.

There's also not much point in eating it, either.

Secondly, let me say AARRGGHH!!  I HATE DIGIPAKS!! :P

I just received here at work (which is good, since I had it sent here) a package from Ghostlight Records...the original Broadway cast recordings of Passing Strange and In the Heights.  ITH is in a 2-CD digipak, which means it's not in a plastic jewel case.  In the copy that I received, the center hub holder thing that disc 2 snap into, is broken!! >:( The darn CD can't stay in the case.  AND since it's not just a regular plastic jewel case, I can't just get a new one. :P  :'(

End of rant.

I've seen some plastic surgery, Singdaw. that makes me wonder if they DO offer it.

DR Singdaw, I have most of the Britten DVDs individually, except for the BILLY BUDD, which is out of print. I keep an eye out for it.

There is a production with Peter Pears and Peter Glossop that will be released on DVD July 8, 2008.  It's probably not the version you want, but I thought you should know about itl.

No, actually.  I grilled two kabobs -- one pork and one beef, with peppers, onions and mushrooms.

VERY tasty!

There were clips from these two filmed productions in Tony Palmer's documentary on Britten, A Time There Was.
