Sounds like over all you're having a great experience, DR Jose
It really hasn't been all that bad. The only "bad" part has been having to deal with performers who seem to not like performing. Most of my notes after today's run-thru were, "Please smile! Please look like you know and like what you're doing!" And it really is amazing just how much better someone seems when they actually look like they're having a good time. *And they still don't get that when they are the one or two people not smiling, that our attention automatically goes to them. A frown catches the eye in a sea of smiles.
Yes, the days have been long, but they've been very leisurely paced, and the "stager" I've been working with really knows her stuff, and is a great teacher.
Now if we could just have internet access at the rehearsal hall, well...
*Maybe I should make that a requirement for my next contract with them.
