Then I plucked TERMINATOR 3 on Blu-ray off the shelf and watched that. It looks better than TERMINATOR 2 and about the same as the original TERMINATOR on HD disc. The sound was an amped up bitrate of Dolby Digital but not a lossless track. WTF?

Then I watched tonight's FEAR ITSELF. There were some effective scare moments early on, but much of it was simply repulsive, and the twist ending wasn't really up to par.

Gas has gone down another two cents since two days ago, for a total of four cents. Even the idiotic news media had to acknowledge it today, albeit begrudgingly.

DR Michael S - As for people not responding to your posts... Well...

I do read all the posts. However, I do not respond to all the posts. Sometimes I don't have a response for any number of reasons, and some posts just don't seem "response-worthy", or rather in need of a response. Some posts - like many on yours - I see as informational, sort of like a news item. In other words, they do provide information, but they don't necessarily act like a "question" or "query". And when you do ask a question, I just don't have an answer. -Yes, I like movies, but I'm not a film buff by any means, so when you ask questions about a release date, an actor/actress, a director, a theme song, etc... Well...

That's my story, and I believe that other DRs share the same story.

*And they will most likely go back up again after the holiday weekend. Gas stations are trying to make sure that some people DO drive this weekend. -Especially since AAA has been forecasting that people are curtailing their holiday travel/driving plans due to the rising gas costs.

We(My Wife and I) had a wonderful Dinner and Evening with DR Jose and DR Michael S at Houston's. It was a pleasure meeting Uncle Jo Jo and the amazing(truly amazing) part of the evening was no one-Yes no one (including DR Jose) had Dessert. Maybe a first for Jose? I don't know.A world Record (maybe)-But maybe one for Ripley's Believe It Or Not.

Too late for that, and it's not working. I've heard from many people who were planning on going somewhere who are staying put. I hope the gas stations at least have a bad week.

I took a long walk - strolled Ventura Blvd., looked at shops, looked at the line of people outside of the California Pizza Kitchen (on a Thursday night at eight!), looked at the full house at Mexicali, picked up the new edition of Video Watchdog at Barnes and Noble, looked at a new frozen yogurt place that I'll try in a day or two - I rarely ever walk around here, don't really know why, so it was fun.

Good Evening! I'm writing from the lake. We had a great time today. The 3rd is when then shoot the fireworks at this lake and we had a crowd of about 20 including DRs Samantha, AJameson, Sundee and of course Baby Gabe. I got some fun photos today but am too tired to edit them and post them tonight

DR AJ says hello to everyone. He had to be at work this morning at 5:00 or some ungodly hour like that. He got off work at 3:00 then left for the lake at 4:00 and arrived here around 7:30 PM. We had dinner and watched the fireworks and he just went to sleep. He is very tired and said he's not going to post tonight.

We are having our first real monsoon storm of the summer. So far lots of lightening and thunder and wind. I still think it is too dry for rain. I hope there are no more lightening-sparked fires from it.
