Ms Marsha Hunt was one of Paramount's Lucky Seven in 1935 along with Ms Frances Farmer and Eleanore Whitney, Betty Jane Rhoades, Rosalind Keith, Olympe Bradne, and Betty Burgess.

They're doing one show week on Thursday afternoon, just to keep their hand in.  ;D

I've already given these guys the yays and nays of NYMF - just more detail today.  The one thing that's better, unless they're being lied to, is that they only have to share their theater with one other show.  That may alleviate some of the more ridiculous things, like having to store your set in a 4 by 4 space, and having so many light plots in the computer that it can't work, and same with sound.  Too bad none of the shows in the past had such a luxury.  Of course, if they have a larger space for the set, that means they can have a larger set and that means more money.

The publicist is key - we didn't have a great one.  Then again, I don't know that FJL had one at all, but he had a great producer getting the word out.  And that's the other thing - a producer.  I had a general manager, and that made lots of things easier.

Last Starfighter's great producer at NYMF was, of course, DR Julie (Julie Miller), who has been busy with movie work and such stuff in recent months.

Oh, I did a little research and the London 1776 was never released on CD - not even announced.  On The Town was announced but never came out.

Ya know, I really think that someone ought to consider turning LAST STARFIGHTER into a movie.  I can really see it working.......... wait, oh!

Am I really going to a ten o'clock meeting in Hollywood on a Sunday.  I'd better put on my Sunday clothes, then.

Hi, DR Kerry!  Do you have your feet propped up?  Would you like to borrow my walker?  May I have this dance?

Seriously, I hope you're on the mend and not in too much pain!

Actually I still had my walker from last October when I broke the other ankle.  Although it makes things a lot easier, it is a depressing thought that I have my own walker.  LOL!

I think I'll sit this one out, but thanks for the invitation to dance.

Wow, they could set a record for the longest-running, Thursday-only matinee run in Broadway history.

I'm still not quite understanding why our usual movie hounds, the ones that run out to see almost any high-profile film within the first couple of days, seem so ambivilent about Wall-E.  I'm sure there's a reason, and I'm very interested in learning what it is.  There seems to be either a subtle resistence to seeing it, or no interest at all.  And I find that odd, given that it's the best-reviewed film of the year.

DR Kerry - right ankle or left?  If it's your right, maybe instead of dancing, we could enter the sack race.  Between us, we have 2 good feet  ;)

Jane, if I knew how to connect to a website like the Tall Ships slideshow, I would have done it; but that is beyond my technical skills.

DR TCB - how much of the tall ships display can you see from your balcony?  It looks like a spectacular event.

And the word of the day is: PALAVER!
A subject best broached by the magnificent story, The Randy Vicar and the 1-900-PALAVER.

Does anyone else remember the ALL IN THE FAMILY epsiode where Archie and Mike argued back and forth on whether to put on both socks first, or one sock, one shoe and then the other sock and the other shoe.

He realized recently that I alway put on my left sock, left shoe; and then my right sock and right shoe.  I wonder what that means about me?

Anyone else feel like weighing in? Pantyhose doesn't count.
