He realized recently that I alway put on my left sock, left shoe; and then my right sock and right shoe.  I wonder what that means about me?

Anyone else feel like weighing in? Pantyhose doesn't count.

I don't think I ever noticed before...but I do know that I put my socks on first, and then my shoes.

I'd like to have produced Wall-E.  No, as I said, just generally interested in this lack of enthusiasm, which is how I'm reading this.  Because there's just been too many instances on this board where the same folks have rushed out to see the brand new film, time and time again.  I understand busy, and I'm not criticizing, just finding it interesting, and it IS interesting, this "I'll get to it at some point" line that everyone keeps using.  I hope everyone does because it's a marvelously marvelous film.

I fell asleep for a while.  Had two small sandwiches from Togo - the gal who made them obviously doesn't know how much stuff you're supposed to put on them, because it was almost like eating bread and veggie sandwiches.

*DR JulieC40 - Of course, it will not be raining when you and your sister visit New York City.  ;)
From your lips to God's ears!  ;D  Remember we do come from Oregon so we are definitely use to the rain!  However, I don't necessarily enjoy it myself.

Has anyone (maybe TOMOVOZ) heard of an australian show called THE BLOCK?

It used to play here on HGTV. And i loved it. I even went to youtube to see if they had any of the seasons. But nothing.

I was just curious if there were any seasons after seasons 1 and 2.

It was basically 4 or so australian couples who moved into 4 units and had to redo them room by room. And then at the end there was a big auction. And whoever got the most money won.

Right now i'm in the middle of watching season 3 of Britain's Next top model (they play it here on Fashion television and STAR). I realized i missed the first few episodes of this series.  So i checked and of course they have it on youtube!

Apparently there is also a season 4.

And for australia's next top model there is a season 3 and 4 (they have only shown 1 and 2 here).

I like australia's better.

Oh, and in answer to DR JulieC40's Question of the Day:  we met in 1986; we were both singing in a professional choir in Stamford, Connecticut.

And I generally [but not always] put on my socks before my shoes.  Sock, Sock, Shoe, Shoe.  I don't think there is a regular right or left first pattern.

My absence of late has been due both IP and PC problems.
It has been a easy way to avoid reading any posts by DR TCB.

Congratulations to DR ThrownRice.  Thank you for "sharing" your day with your fellow DRs.

My IP problems should be resolved. (always difficult to get through to the service department etc on a weekend).  I'm still waiting for my usual PC to be returned with its new hard drive.

Yes DR Jennifer - I know of "The Block". It was filmed in Sydney.

As there are numerous laws (including taxation issues) involved in the selling of homes etc - plus planning permits etc, we were never convinced that the show was entirely honest! (But then NO reality show is).
