I used all public-domain stuff - with little counter-melodies between clarinet and cello, and the piano just going um-pah-pah throughout. Even used the Libiamo from Traviata for right before the "Hey, let's get as drunk as we can!" scene...

I'm just sitting here, waiting for the hospital supply company to deliver a raised toilet seat and a shower bench...

Rikki had all kinds of damage from disk stuff to stenosis to a very large cyst on the inside of her spinal column in the lower back. Surgeon got it all cleaned out, excised the bone, used it for a bone graft in another spot, and put her all back together like tinker toys - with titanium rods and pins. She'll be in a body brace for months. I don't know if I could have faced it, especially after that horrible neck surgery last year... she is such a good sport - this week, she is my hero!

Thank you DR ELMORE....they are much appreciated.

Of course the same people who walked out of FOOTLOOSE because they thought it was "the one with the monkey" walked out of ALL MY SONS last night because they thought it was the "Fred MacMurray."

Hahahahahahahaaaaa!!!!!

Oy, what a day I had today!

(Actually, just busy with some surprise tax rushes, not a big deal, but I thought I'd make an entrance.)

Going to drop off line now to write just a little bit and then head back down for more Kathy Griffin and then more RENO 911. Later tonight - BATMAN BEGINS on Blu-ray.

Larry, I don't think I'd be any competition!

Darlingest, dearest, loveliest PennyO, I would never dare to compete with such a talented lady! I think the 3-player idea was wonderful, and i'm sure the scoring sounds great and proves to be exactly what the play needs.

I used that great Russian cellist I had on the last gig. So much Fun!!!

It didn't happen to be Armen Ksajikian, did it? I LOVE him!

Wow, that came together fast! Congratulations, Penny O! I'm glad you didn't adopt the current trend of making the actors play their own instruments!

Well, the Mamma Mia! soundtrack pleases me very much, with one exception.  Where's "I Do, I Do, I Do, I Do"?  Makes me wonder if the story has been changed for the film.  Looking forward to seeing it soon!

what I enjoy about her is Michael's combination of love and annoyance.

Since I'm sure I have that same reaction on my boys, I gotta appreciate her  ;D
