There are three (what appear to be) lengthy bonus features on the second disc in the set so I'm guessing those and PROJECT RUNWAY will constitute my evening's entertainment.

DR DakotaCelt, thank you.

Are you shocked your co-worker is voting for the candidate or that she thinks the candidate is sexy?

Condolences on the loss of your uncle.

Back from an annoying and the satisfying lunch.  I first went to Hugo's to have their Papa's Eggs and a salad.  I should have known better.  At twelve-twenty I happily found a parking place.  But once inside it was jammed with loud, obnoxious Studio City people and there was a ten-minute wait.  I decided to wait, but when they finally sat me and my guest it was at a teeny-tiny table next to a pole and within two feet of another table.  I just sat there, my usual claustrophobic self, fuming, and then I packed it in and left.  No more Studio City Hugo's for me - EVER.  I'll do the West Hollywood Hugo's because they know how to a) run their restaurant and take care of their regulars and b) know how to lay out their room.

I then went to Art's, where I got a nice, big booth and I had my tri-salad, two scoops of turkey salad, once scoop of egg salad.  Normally I have two pieces of rye bread with butter, but I didn't this time, and therefore I didn't fill up at all.  I didn't finish the egg salad, so I think it was a reasonably healthy and reasonable caloried luncheon.

DR elmore, I hope all is well with your neighbor.

I've heard him walking around a couple of times but he hasn't come down to apologize for last night's inconvenience. When I went up to check on things, no one was there. I'll see him in the next couple of days.

I have some writing to do, so I'm going to drop off-line now to do that. Then back to the viewing room for tonight's festivities.

I have a question. It's a bit personal, but since folks do talk about their health here, I figure it's OK.

Who here has had your appendix removed at some point in your life?

I haven't. In fact, the only operation I've ever had (so far) was at age five having my tonsils removed.

I still have my appendix & tonsils.  Is there a hidden reason you ask this?  I know if you have symptoms you should be checked immediately.  Keith’s father waited too long & his surgery was serious & complicated.  A few years later Keith’s brother went straight to the doctor & his recovery wasn’t much easier.

I’m glad you stated you had writing to do before disappearing today.

Look at you, color-coordinating your hair and beard with your pants. You need to exchange your puce-colored toga for the chartreuse one that no one has claimed -- not everyone can pull that color off, but it's definitely in your palette, DR SingSong.  ;)

Is this a slow news day here at haineshisway.com?

I got stung by something while hiking today.  Whatever it was, I surprisingly wasn't allergic to it. :)

With the help of wrist supports, a wheel barrow & Keith, I carried the bags of salt to the water softener tank and filled it.

Wasn't that exciting news?

I'm cooking pork chops for dinner and Richard and I just watched the movie Vantage Point.

Isn't that exciting?
