I did take the time to rewatch the season premiere of THE CLOSER again tonight. The performances were wonderful.

One of my favorite moments - When Sanchez picks up the reporter and flips him upside down. Good lord, what strength he must have because the actor playing the reporter looked pretty hunky to me!

Back from a lovelier than lovely dinner with cousins Alan and Dee Dee.  I shall now endeavor to watch something.

While I was waiting for PSYCH to come on, I watched FIRST LOOK: THE DARK KNIGHT on HBO-HD. Looks really intriguing, but I know I won't be seeing the movie for weeks; it won't come to my local theater a few blocks away until the middle of August I'm guessing. The theater will get it once the other theaters in the chain need space for new movies so they'll move it over to my side of the world.

INDIANA JONES just opened there today.

I enjoyed PSYCH though the case was less interesting this time with fewer uses of Shawn's observations than I like in an episode. Next week's episode looks better.

Back from dinner with my mom at IHOPs and then shopping at Target...now time for a Bollywood movie...

KHOONKHAR DARINDE (1999) which is a very, very low budget horror film...very low budget. It stars someone named Sapne.

Cool! The sneak peak of the next episode of Design Star has Bill, the guy I met at Panera on it. He is working with Jenn, just as he said he did.  I wonder if that was here in town

The theater will get it once the other theaters in the chain need space for new movies so they'll move it over to my side of the world.

I presume to local's prices are half the main theatre's. Our "local" sells matinee's for $3/night for $4 - and the concessions are less expensive.

Actually there are only two theatre complexes for miles - the big 12-plex (about 2 miles away) and the smaller "bargain" 6-plex (about 1.5 mile away).

Well, Sunday night is Ringo Starr's concert and then we head to New York the next night, Monday, at 11:59 p.m., yes, 1 minute before midnight!  The Concert should be fun.  It is kind of at a amphitheater of sorts so will have grass seating but did find a couple of beach chairs that have back support.  Never have been to a concert with grass seating before.  I know, I guess I'm too much of a city girl, huh?

That was very good!  I also found this song...it's Weird Al Yankovic's version called, "Jerry Springer."

Hysterical! ;D And the complete lyrics are posted.

I love it!!! Thanks, George!

I saw the massaging chairs and said I wanted to try one. He sat in the one next to me and after about 15-20 minutes we traded chairs and sat there another 15-20 minutes. It was hilarious. It also really gave my back a massage and took away my headache.  He said I should buy one.

He wasn't in a lab coat and resembling our bk, was he?

You'll be seeing more of the hunky reporter, at least thru the first 3 episodes.

And Sanchez has an episode built around him later in the season.

TOD: 2 Piano version of Milhaud's "Le Boef Sur la Toit". I love it!
ipod in the kitchen--everything, but it reminds me that I'd like to do a mix CD for the next time my DH takes a trip. There's a lot of good music I've gotten recently that he hasn't heard.

I went to see a terrific local production of URINETOWN last weekend. I was really surprised at how good it was, especially since the theatre was underneath a tacky old strip mall. The choreography was great; the guy who did it was in his mid-20's but I liked it better than the Broadway production (I saw the B'way version 3 times, going with different people).

On the way home I took a wrong turn and ended up in downtown Decatur. I passed Decatur CD, a record store that a friend has been telling me about for years. (We have similar tastes in music,)

I was thrilled that they were open on a Sunday night, since they were just about the only business that was.

Wow!!! I felt like an alcoholic in a liquor store. It was very small but the music selection was so good that my heart started beating fast (about a dozen different Os Mutates CD's for example.) Stuff by some of my favorite artists that I'd never seen before. I immediately picked up over a dozen CD's, then put a few back, and got out of there before blowing my whole paycheck. Needless to say, I was thrilled!

Finished watching a motion picture on DVD.  I've had this DVD since 2001 and had only looked at the credits.  After, I watched an interview with one of the actors, and guess who was doing the interview.  Druxy.
