Cilla, I am sorry to read about the storm, but grateful it wasn't worse.

Still, it has been years and years since I have seen a newspaper that quotes a citizen, and then lists his actual street address.  Incredible!

Well this is iowa. Probably in there so we can all drive by and look at the damage ;)

My weird lifestyle just doesn't lend itself to linger on the website throughout the day. That's one of the reasons I had Bruce do my posting for me in the past. So I must load up when I can.  Anyway, you've all seemed to do well even with my loading up.
By the by, isn't there one too many Maverick's on the list?  I know about Bret.  Was there also really a Brent?

Well, I'm signing off.  Our friend will be here in a half hour to pick us up to go to the airport.  I don't know if I'll get a chance to get on the internet while I'm there but if not, I'm sure you will all be hearing about this on Monday.  Getting home late on Sunday night.  Everyone have a great week!  :)

I am very excited and happy for Frank and extremely disappointed that I will be out of the country for the duration of the run of the show... I would like to support him however so if any of our NY area DRs (or any of our DRs who will be in the NY area during this time ) would care to go to one of the performances I will be happy to pay for the tickets!

I finished the bonus features on the SHINE A LIGHT DVD. There were four songs cut from the final picture, but my favorite bonus was a 15 minute behind-the-scenes compilation with the Stones rehearsing or just sitting on stage riffing on their guitars without amplification or a screaming crowd. It's the best music on the disc - so pure and hypnotic.

You're right, Cillaliz. That microburst we had a couple years ago was probably not as bad as your storm, but I don't care to repeat that again!

But some wind, lightening, and rain would be appreciated.

I watched last night's LAW & ORDER: CRIMINAL INTENT. Good episode and I love James Frain on THE TUDORS so nice to see him in a completely different role here. Good, quirky episode.

Next, I opened WILL & GRACE - Season 7 and watched the first 3 episodes. This was the season where Grace left Leo when she found he had cheated on her so the first two episodes involved her in the failed reconciliation and then grieving process. She drove me CRAZY, and I was especially disgusted with Will for letting down his boy friend Vince who wanted Will to meet his boss just because Will had to answer his cell phone every single time needy Grace called during the dinner.

I remember now why many of the episodes during seasons seven and eight were so unbearable; Grace is the most selfish person on earth and Will lets her take total advantage of him.

Nice "Closer," very romantic in its quirky way, which was a nice change. What a great show.

Yay! Thanks for tuning in!

BTW, although household ratings used to be measured just by Nielsen families, now you can help improve the ratings of any show you like with your Tivo or other recorder. I'm not exactly sure how it works, but I guess the providers keep track of who records what, so whenever anyone records THE CLOSER, it helps our ratings. So even if you don't watch it, but record and erase it the next day, it still helps.

So support your favorite shows!

I watched the BONES rerun, and it was another heavily-plotted Gormogon episode. These episodes really creep me out, and this was the worst yet. It also ended with a seat-jumping moment which really made me lose it. And I saw the ORIGINAL broadcast!
