Well, you've read the notes, the notes were connected, and now it is time for you to post until the connected cows come home.

I must to bed - the connection is now so slow that I doubt I would have been able to post the notes at this time.

Best pizza:  a Pizza Marguerite (accomopmiened by a lovely salad of yumilicious wild greens and a perfect vinagerette dressing to die for) outside at a cafe overlooking the ocean in Nice.

Second best (and maybe a tie-- although completely different) was a deep dish pizza at Two Marbles (Four Marbles?) with extra cheese and well done on top.  MusicGuy and I had it about once a week.  It got to the point where they recognized my voice and the way I liked it and knew my name and just got to the point of calling it the "Kerry Special."  The place no longer exists and I dream of that pizza sometimes.  Heaven.

Off the subject, but what made the deviled eggs so special and unique?

Laters!

Good Evening! Good Morning!  Wherever You Are!

Many, many thanks to our hosts for the evening - DR FJL, his ever-lovin' Skip, and Toby and Dylan.  The food was delicious.  The conversation was sparkling - and sometimes downright scandalous.  And the company was perfect.

And without further ado...

Pizza = :D

The best pizza that I've had is at a place in Lacey called Dirty Dave's Gay 90's Pizza...they've been in Lacey for as long as I can remember and they've always had great pizza.  I used to always get Hawaiian (Canadian bacon and pineapple) or sausage and pepperoni (anywhere I went), but when I was in college, one of my suite-mates said that his favorite was pepperoni and pineapple.  I tried it and have loved it ever since.  Also, one of Dirty Dave's specialty items is cashews.  I love me some cashews, so another time I got pepperoni, pineapple, cashews, extra cheese and extra sauce on a thin crust.  It was THE BEST!!  And still is. ;D

As for the Topic of the Day...

I've had many a "this is the best pizza I've ever had" slices.  My current favorite is from Artichoke & Basile in the East Village.  The make a few basic pies - although "basic" is not truly the right word.  They may a classic margherita - tomato sauce, mozzarella and basil.  They also make a thick(!)-crusted Neapolitan style.  But their claim to fame is a slice of their Artichoke Pizza - which tastes like hot Artichoke-Spinach Dip on top of a hearty pizza crust.  Sooooo good.  -And only $3.00 for a slice.  A HUGE slice.

DR Laura, I think they get it right on the tv, I'll have to look again. It may just be the transcript.  That is the station where I was the weatherperson for the day, you'd think they'd know me by now.

Cilla,

If you're accepting that your client was present (albeit under duress) and shot the gun (albeit, again, under duress, and shot to miss) why all this bother about DNA and blood etc?

der Brucer

It does sound like a bunch of thugs trying to pass the blame to a weak sister.

I'm not conceding he shot the gun. That was mistaken reporting.  But otherwise  ;D
