I actually have never seen THE OUTLAW, but the lead man in the film, Jack Buetel, lived in Portland after he left show business.

It is such a bad movie that I would think it could be on your top ten list.

How about a "quiet" version of "Easy To Be Hard" from Hair?

Great idea, and the singer likes it, too.  Thanks, Jose!

Okay, I've been home all day (shh...with the runs :o but I feel fine, otherwise) ...also doing some laundry.  Fun day, huh? ;)

Related events.  Clearly.

The first episode of SORDID LIVES is on!  15 minutes in and it is truly wacko.
so was the movie.

DR George, what a great, fun story.

I hope you're referring to the DVD part of the story...not the medical issue.

For any EUReKA fans out there, it looks like season three (starting up on Tuesday) will be twenty-two episodes long, as opposed to the thirteen each for the first two seasons.

There's something about the non-broadcast networks having choses thirteen episodes as a season standard that I kind of like.  It's certainly better than having a season drag on for what seems forever.  The Sci-Fi channel seems to be a bit more fluid than the other cable nets, however, which is probably also a good thing - it doesn't seem to bother them to split a season into two parts, for example.

I guess I shall have to wait for the DVD of the series DR Elmore. I am pleased to have introduced the movie to DR Ben and Ant.

I spent about 3 hours at the jail.  I haven't done a lot more than that.  Tomorrow I will prepare my cross for the rest of the state's  witnesses.

Today is DS Gabe's 12th birthday party (tomorrow is his actual natal day).  Then I'm off to final tech and dress for the Revue from Hell.  :)

A Very Happy Pre-Birthday for DS Gabe!!

Thanks for sharing the poster, DR TCB!!!  That's the one!!

We all asked bk last night why "Jersey Men" was premiering in NY State.  But, you know - that's show business for ya.   :)

Probably for the same reason that OKLAHOMA originally opened in Connecticut.

Good Afternoon!

Ah... I believe my sinus cavity is finally starting to clear up.  I wonder if a jog around the Reservoir would do more good than harm?

You don't think I'm going to touch that cavity line, do you?

I would tell him it is too late to make changes now.
Or else he can choose a song and sing it himself.

I second third this option.  Changing something the night before you open is ridiculous!

Well, I'm going to attempt church tomorrow.  Richard and Rob assure me that no one will mind if the middle strap on my left sandal isn't fastened.

'night!

Okay, I've been home all day (shh...with the runs :o but I feel fine, otherwise) have been watching TV (because I can't really leave my house :-\).  I watched the last four episodes of "The Big Bang Theory" and created chapters for "Independence Day" that I had on my DVD burner that I recorded from one of the digital (not hi-def) channels.  I did a few things on my computer and am also doing some laundry.  Fun day, huh? ;)

George, in your condition, should you really be watching THE BIG BANG THEORY?

DR Jane - Sounds like you had a wonderful evening.  -And last night's cake sounds good too. -I've been craving some sort of chocolate all day, but was too lazy and tired to do anything to satisfy that craving... Which is a good thing, I guess.

Thank you thankyou thankyou

FJL and Skip ...as always the hospitality was gracious, and bountiful!

Skip is the most magnificent chef.

Everything was wonderful but the devilled eggs were outstanding...

Whereas BK tried valiently to strick to his diet,  I threw all thoughts of calories out the window and just enjoyed

In my opinion, going to Fred and Skip's  for dinner and dieting is like going to a Broadway musical and wearing earplugs
