She'll be playing Miss Jones.

And who'll be playing the Devil in her?

Thanks, DRs elmore3003 and JoseSPiano!  I hadn't realized how dependent I have become on my computer and the Internets.  It is a bit unsettling!

Good morning!

August! Really? Didn't it just turn July?

High of 91 today, so another miserable day outside. I plan to spend most of the day inside.

It's tax free weekend here in the Carolinas for computers and equipment, but I took adventage of it last year at this time and bought the computer I'm using right now. No need for a new one quite yet.

I'm sorry for your computer troubles, DR singdaw.

Have I mentioned that when I saw JUBILEE in Vegas several years back, they had a topless dance routine

They had topless girls at "Feathermore"?

This was clearly not the Cole Porter musical! The folk creating that musical only wanted topless men.

Now that DR Cillaliz is finished with her case, she can represent DR Laura in The Case of the Missing Crawdads.

DR Ben - I meant to mention this yesterday, but.... One of the readers for the auditions I played over the past couple of days will also be in How To Succeed... with Anthony.  She'll be playing Miss Jones.

"Have you met Miss Jones"?

I guess you have!

Yesterday I got a couple of review items, the most exciting of which was DEXTER - Season 2. Looking forward to experiencing it again at some point in the upcoming week.

Got a disc from Logo too; I believe it's a lesbian-themed movie called AFFINITY.

There have been many e-mail missives from various cast members introducing themselves to each other virtually. I think I remember one of them mentioning a Miss Jones. Small world isn't it? (a Gypsy reference). Jose not only knows where to eat in New York, he knows just about every actor in the city  ;)

It seems to be old home week over at Facebook.  In the past three days, I've heard from my college freshman year roommate, my sophomore year roommate, and two long lost college acquaintances!

Healing vibes to DR Singdaw's computer! If it doesn't return to normal, at least this weekend would be a good time to get a new one!

As far as work goes, I wil continue to work on THE CLOSER. I am a freelancer so I choose where I work and I chose to work here, because I have a great work flow with the on-line editor and the support staff. So I hope things don't change too much and we'll continue to have good work flow.

It sounds like the new owners are very music oriented and seem to have a lot of bucks (at first I was thinking Tyler Perry but I'm not sure...) so it could be interesting.
